Kindof - Ah i see, so its only him ruining plans then? :(

JHA - I was sobbing for like an hour the other day as i was re reading mine and OH old emails lol. And i got a bit emotional earlier as i was reading the ttc thread and some of them had early scans and were so worried but all was ok, and i was remembering when i had the early scan and all the feelings i felt, etc.

Im sat here planning my baby shower lol. My sister is hosting it, but were both planning it :p
Im looking forward to it as it will be around my birthday and i will get to see everyone when im prob going to be going crazy with boredness as i'll be 35 weeks at the time of it :D

How frustrating Kindof :( Boo for your brother!

LeopardLady I remember that feeling well!!! In fact the first thing that made me think I might be pregnant was a couple of days before AF was due I burst into tears at the kitchen table, so not my thing, and for no actual reason! Just have a good old cry when you get out of work, it'll make you feel better :)

Lots of sunshine vibes for you & your tortie JHA :D Glad baby started wriggling for you too :D

EA how annoying of your cat :( Our cats have been so sweet (though I do lavish them with attention, and regularly carry them around like babies :rotfl: I think they forget they're cats sometimes), one of them likes to sit with her head and paws on bump and purrs away so baby kicks!!

Thanks for the info on sudocrem too Fernlie :D To be honest, I just presumed the baby products would be fairly low chemical, bit naive of me really :o Before I go researching, do you know if the Burts Bee's products are any good? I love them for me & noticed they do a baby range

Hope all's gone well at the scan Mel, xx

    Lovely pic Nikkit :D

I've had a lovely day today since the worry about maternity pay has been lifted, went shopping & picked up some maternity tops & some fancy food bits :) & got a bit extra our of our savings so we can go out for dinner tonight, worryingly I have a real urge to go out properly and get drunk, must resist!!!!! Also thoroughly enjoyed having my car back so I've been driving round all day in my own car, felt a real luxury - easily pleased or what :o

Up til now I've said I'm not gonna get a 4d scan cos it felt like a 'waste', though we can afford it, but I think I've changed my mind :o I really want to see baby again, a normal 2d scan would do me, but that seems an even bigger waste of money, so thinking I might book a 4d scan...anyone who's had one care to talk me into it? :rotfl:

Ooh also, in case anyone's gonna order anything, Boots have got their points offers on again, 1000 for every £50 spent, think it's only for a couple of days :) & ASOS have a free next day delivery code til 6pm tonight & there's some nice bits in the sale maternity bit :D

am presently shaking after getting off the phone to the hospital to ask - er, hello? Can I see a midwife yet? Been waiting 2 weeks since doc wrote referal letter; he phoned a certain mw on monday and she said she would phone me this week... needless to say she has not. I have left a message last week and she did not get back to me. So not happy. I know it's not good for the bean or me, but I am so angry. If I was a teenager, alcoholic or worse I'd get seen quicker I'm sure! But nah, it's only pcos... Someone is alledgedly going to phone me back this afternoon. Better not hold my breath, eh.

I think our cat is not to sure he's a cat, the other day he jumped onto the roof of the shed, slipped and jumped onto the wall, fell off then jumped back up on the wall and fell off the other side! :rotfl:
He also fell out of this tree like 5 times the other day when i was tryin to take a photo of him, he's a silly sausage :p

Go for a 4d scan! They are amazing!
This was my friends one, she's 25ish weeks here i think

thanks jha; I'm not sure who I spoke to today, but I think they were in the supervisors office or something. I just want to know that bean is ok, if I'd have known it would take this long I would've booked a private scan in Milton Keynes!

I still haven't a clue how many weeks I am & not sure whether the butterflies in my tummy are nerves from all this today or movement due to stress! Poor little thing. I'm still feeling frequently sick, which I guess is re-assuring, though very irksome as I work in a shop and I'm always looking for the nearest thing to use, just incase! :o

Ahh PP what a fab pic :D How many weeks were you when you had it?

Ok I'm decided, now just gotta convince OH, don't think it'll take much, he's all for doing whatever I want anyway!!!

Just bought baby some Converse crib shoes :) & a lovely dress from ASOS (for me, not baby, of course!) :D Someone needs to take my bank cards away from me today, danger to myself!

Forgot to add Lauz, I was diagnosed with PCOS too before conceiving, as well as a type of tumour beneath my brain, and I wasn't given any special treatment, in fact, it took a fortnight & me calling them to get a hospital appointment in place so I could discuss further medical treatment. I know it's tough to see it this way but I tried to look at it as if they weren't worried about me and baby so it mustn't be a big deal, iykwim? Could you pop into Dr's and see if they'd refer you for an early scan on the basis you don't know how far along you are?
