gymfiend- I have used sudocrem on occasion but I think of it as a medicine, I have a very nice (but stupidly expensive) handmade nappy cream that I use for nighttime on DD. But I think at first, unless they actually get a rash they don't need a nappy cream at all. (i did google it and found a really good recipe to make your own natural nappy cream but haven't given it a go, looked good though!) If you don't get on with cotton wool and water, you could try re-useable wipes (don't bother with expensive ones off reusable nappy sites, just cut some squares from an old towel, or an old muslin. You can then get the wipe dispensers for a couple of quid and they are so much less faff than bowls of water etc. If you google them, then there is loads of info on them. Now though I use the sainsburys eco wipes (1/2 price atm) for her.
Like I said before, I'm not saying it's bad to use baby products at all, if they work for your little one thats cool, but for me and DD it would be too risky to try it.
Congrats to charlie and naomi. Well done ladies, and welcome to your gorgeous bubbas!
Congrats Leopard lady!So pleased for you! x
beenie- that buggy sounds a bargain, remember with the extra money you save you could buy a lovely buggy liner for when it turns into a pushchair, and then you can have whatever colour you like. I also think that you could 'dress' it up with a nice blanket etc when it is a pram, you prob won't notice the colour once bubs is installed!0 -
Morning (just!) everyone.
Congratulations Charliedavis and Naomi!!!
Mel - hope you're feeling a bit brighter and I'm sorry you're worried about the scan. I think it's natural to fear the worse - I know I did. Even now with my 20 weeks scan looming on the 7th, I'm really nervous that there's going to be something wrong and I don't have any real reason to feel that way.
I can't believe, after being at the bottom of the list for what seemed like ages, there's now 23 people below me...Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Huge hugs Mel - hoping scan went or is going fine and you are all excited about seeing bubs:D
Thanks jha, Scan is at 3.50pm...Well I am just going to phone and confirm in a minute because she said that a letter would be sent out with date and time and instructions, how much water to drink and where to go, but I haven't had anything through.
Is anyone here needing a double pushchair......or has one, I really need some reccomendations:)
Mel xUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

So i fully intend to stock up on 1/2 price baby stuff up to the value of £20
Grrr, im very annoyed at our cat. He pee'd on the baby clothes i going to list on ebay! They were folded in a bin bag and he got in open and pee'd in it.
He's never done that before always been in his litter tray.
What makes it worse they were brand new with tags on and now i cant list them. Im going to wash them a few times and if my friend is having a boy she can have them all.0 -
