  • Hi ladies, hope everyone is well :D

I made a special visit to sainsburys today but was very disappointed :( Was hoping to get some of that expensive nipple cream (lanish-something), some disposable pants and breast & maternity pads but they had none  Also picked up my mum-to-be bounty pack which was rubbish and they'd run out of the late stage one but tbh I don't think I'll bother.

I had some bloods done at my 28 week appointment and apparently I'm anaemic :(. Dr wants me to have blood re-done next week then make a decision about iron. Going to stuff myself with brocolli from now till then in the hope it'll make a difference :rotfl:

Someone was saying about their rubbish 16 week appointment? Mine was also rubbish, think I have a lazy CMW as I still haven't heard the babes hb :( She seemed very put out that I actually had some questions for her last time

Congrats to mr & mrs fattybooboo, that message was lovely :D

Congrats to GISI and big turning vibes to Lou

Lol to your little magpie red, I did a similar thing with my Aunties ring when I was little :o

Lenient tax people and pity for stupid pregnant lady vibes for gym ;)

EA - if it was Copacabana then it's a bonifide guilty pleasure and duly allowed, if it was Mandy then shame on you for torturing your poor baby :rotfl:

    Ooh, congrats charliedavis!

    Hi

I have usually used johnsons products, although only alittle bit is needed. I have always used from a few days old, and baby wipes from day one, I couldn't be doing with cotton wool an water!!!

Had a bit of a tearful, stressful day today but not going to go into it. I have my dating scan tomorrow and I have astrong feeling something will be wrong?

    Mel x

    Hiya all!

Quick update - they were indeed the start of labour - Charlotte Rose was both at 4.03am yesterday - 18th November, weighed 8lb 1 ozs.

I got my home birth in a birth pool, hypno birthing worked for extremely well, had a great labour 7 and a half hours long deep in hypnosis and gas and air for last 20 mins only which helped me control my breathing for pushing - all in all a great labour :-) The midwife tried to go home at one point as she thought I was too relaxed to actually be having strong contractions lol! I listened nearly non stop to my Ipod and the hypnosis tapes all the way through. Made it very boring for OH who fell asleep lol!

Had a natural third stage - noticed Fishcake mentioned this. It was more painful than with DS1 and DS2 but worth it. delivered it sat on the loo into a plastic bin bag lol - sorry if TMI!

    Congrats to fattyboo and GISI!

Congrats :) thats amazing newS!!! and I am so pleased you got the birth you wanted!

    Congrats Niaomi too :)

I am SOOOOO tired, like more tired than I think I shoudl be, I wonder if my Iron levels have droppeD? I am at the midwife on tuesday, should I mention it to her? will she do a blood test?

Morning all, no sleep night again but not due to me being ill but the dog! He seems ok now but gonna pop home in my lunch hour to check on him, poor thing. So glad now he is gettin older I can spend more time with him as I need time off with bubs.

Charlie - Yeay for you and the arrival of lil Charlotte, well done on the hypnobirthing too. Would love to know more about it if you have time to explain at some point.

Naomi - Well done to you too xxx

IHF - sorry you diddn't get any of the stuff you wanted at Sainsburys, must admit thought we would get there and find the shelves empty but they still had pretty much everything, keep going back if you can tho the offer runs till 25th. I'm tempted to go back and get more, tho as it is we spent £15 last night.

redmel - sorry you had a stressy day, hope that what ever caused it is over and done with now, hugs xx

Well off to try and pee in a stupidly small bottle now, doc in lieu of MW at 9am, hope I get to hear bubs HB again :D

    Morning all,

Som hope you're not too tired, your poor dog, hope he is ok, xx

Congrats Charliedavis :D & welcome Charlotte!

Just spoken to the tax office and broke down in tears to them, how embarassing, poor woman was probably horrified!! Thankfully they've been quite understanding and hopefully, fingers crossed, once I pay the bill they send me I should be able to claim maternity allowance, thank god for that!

Not got time for a total catch up, off out for the day :D Will be back later, hope everyone has a lovely day & hope you get to hear baby at the docs Som :D Ooh & all goes well @ scan Redmel, xxxx
