SJ- My belly button used to be quite big and deep and now (to me anyway) looks more like a bum hole!!:rotfl::eek: I'm hoping it isn't going to pop out as I have scars above and below from piercings so it will look even worse, just thankful that no stretch marks have come up yet (now 29 weeks, so fingers crossed I won't end up with too many)
Som- I know what yoiu mean, I saw my grandparents at the doctors when I went for my swine flu jab the other day and they didn't even mention being pregnant or the baby, just said a quick hello and practically ran off, well as fast as pensioners can! Got a bit upset when I got home. I guess thats why this forum is such a lifeliine, we are all going through the same thing so can get excited together!
Had a terrible nights sleep last night, the arm I usually sleep on still feels a bit bruised from my jab so was tossing and turning a bit trying to get comfy.
Can't think of what else i wanted to say, hope everyone is good. xxBoots: £107.xx on AC :j

Hiya Som, just wanted to say hello & say we're all interested in your pregnancy
I totally get what you mean though, I think it's tough for others to share the excitement other than really close family (my friends really aren't too interested!), try not to worry about it & think that you get to share all the loveliness and excitement with OH
Hope work's not too bad today hun, xx
SJ funny you should mention belly buttons, OH asked me last night if mine would 'emerge' & I was going to come on & ask if it happens to everyone? Yours sounds strange!
I'm nearly 42 weeks and mine hasn't popped out yet!
Happy 36 weeks Beenie and happy 34 weeks Aless...not far to go now!
Som- big hugs. We're definitely all interested. I'm sure you'll find as you get further on people will become more [STRIKE]nosy[/STRIKE] interested.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Thanks for the vibes ladies
Im now more than willing to accept my fair share lol. Strangely today Ive woke up feeling the best I have in weeks, hips arent as sore, no branston pickles, no twinges, nothing
Despite eating the hottest curry Ive had in my life last night and my house smelling like a take away now! OH's going to asda for more pineapple soon and Im about to get the gym ball back out. I made too many samosas as well so need to finish them off today, looks like more curry for lunch!
On the subject of belly buttons I took my piercing out at about 17 weeks, my actual belly button hasnt popped out as it was always quite a deep 'inny' but its definately shallower as the bottom hole from my piercing is now on the outside and I look like I have 3 belly buttons  I hope it retreats slightly after birth
Appropriate vibes to everyone else xBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
My belly button didn't pop throughout my 42.5 week pregnancy with DD, however when I was in labour, as she moved down it popped out for about half an hour, then went back in again- weird!
Somn- it's hard isn't it, I have my mum and SIL and a couple of friends who are super excited and interested in my pregnancy (and DD's) and I don't know what I would have done without their help and support. I think most people find it easier once baby comes along, and then you find that no-one has an interest in you, just in baby!Just to say that we are all really interested in your bumpy babe, so keep us filled in, maybe working in mothercare means people are 'babied out?' Take care, and hope you feel more up beat soon, these blooming hormones certainly know how to kick us while we're down eh! x

Hi all, hope everyone is well i'm afraid i don't have time to catch up. I am spending most of my time at mum and dads just now running interference between dad and my aunt and all the old family that has crawled out of the wood work:mad:. Mum is still like a headless chicken and it's driving dad and i nuts, she is yet to accept either of their passings and keeps calling my DD after my sister.
Dad took me out the other day for an outfit for the funeral, it was so hard he kept crying. Just couldn't pick anything and in the end it was a girl in the shop that helped us out.How can you pick something nice that you like given what it is for! Got leggings and a dress/jumper with boots to match, it feels so strange knowing they are their in the room for that purpose.
Had to contact some of my sisters friends through email (they live abroad) took about 10hrs just to type that first message out. Still can't believe she is gone.
Stay well everyone, vibes to all that need them. X[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Re belly buttons, mine used to be so big and deep you could stack about 25p's worth of 5p's in it lol, now it's stretched and more like a line than a circle, and my old piercing scar which used to be hidden inside is now on the outside lol.
At least I can clean it easier now
32b- massive hugs for you and your family xx
Argh its super rainy here, we have to go shopping and I don't want to leave the house hehe x0
