Ooooo, someone's just told me about this:
I was just wondering if any of you realised you can get Bio Oil on prescription?
It's just that there has been no mention of it (that i've found) on here...
I paid around £15 for my first bottle!!! then a friend told me you can get it on prescription and of course we all have our Maternity Exemption Cards so its totally free.
All I said to my Dr. was basically "I'm worried about stretch marks, please can you prescribe me some Bio Oil"?
Honestly that was it, no questions asked or anything. Since then I just ring the doctors to get a repeat prescription signed and that's it.

I'm seeing the GP tomorrow for my antenatal appt so I will give it a go. It might be like the Gaviscon thing where some are more reluctant to prescribe...:)
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

would like to win a holiday, please!!

Ooh good luck Karen. Get rolling on your gym ball!

I had a few contractions last night, every 20 minutes but then they stopped and I had nothing all night so I'm not getting my hopes up. I even changed the bedding last night in the hope of tempting fate and making my waters break, bit it failed!

OH is at work today, and it's his first day with a new boss so fingers crossed I don't have to call him home today as it's not a great impression! Thankfully his cold seems much better so it hasn't turned into anything nastier.

LCK- any news on your contractions?

Yay for those having a day off, boo for those as work! I need to go and grab some RLT later, but that's about the sum of my plans today....saying that I am trying to get the mountain of washing done and hoover the nursery so actually quite a busy day! Then I am attempting to recreate a veggie version of this using Quorn fillets with some dauphinoise potatoes!

POLLO SICILIANA chargrilled chicken breast, prosciutto ham and plum tomato slices, baked with our blend of cheese

    Nom, nom!
