Hi ladies :wave::hello:
Just got back home after spending the weekend at my mums house. She gave me some fabric nappies (newborn size) BNIB and i'm debating whether to keep them to use when bean arrives or to sell them on ebay. Must admit i was given some fabric nappies for DS but never used them as i was put off by having to wash nappies. Will most likely end up selling them and use the money to buy an outfit for DS and bean.;)
Am i the only one on here getting really excited about christmas? I have the urge to make christmas cards and wrap up pressies! Was thinking about making a nappy wreath to represent bean at christmas (would hang it on the inside of the front door) but am not at all crafty and have a feeling it would probably end up looking like a dogs dinner :rolleyes:
DS wore the squeaky shoes his nan brought for him today and it was sooo adorable hearing his little shoes squeak as he ran around my aunties house (went for the monthly family get together today).
Anyone have any tips for getting a good nights sleep? I'm finding it impossible to get a good nights sleep as every side i lie down on is uncomfortable. The only thing that makes me feel comfy is if i put my legs on top of my DH's but then that makes him uncomfortable so that's not a viable solution :mad: and my body pillows not worrking either as i find it awkward to lug around.
So if anyone could give some tips for a comfy nights sleep then it would be greatly apprecited. :A:A

Had the worst day today don't want to depress everyone so i won't go into it all but i feel like i now live at the hospital. Me and bubs are fine though. Dont worry about depressing us - write away if it will help you unwind and have hug.
Any news from PP? I havent had any txts hope she is ok
oh is still not home - battery has gone on car - my dad has gone to fetch him and announced that the mech put a rubbish one in and he had been waiting for it to go:mad: If i had known that i would have baught a new one - can just imagine me in the throws of labour and the car stopping. If you are not too tired three how much would you pay for a new battery?0 -

LCK73 Call the midwives - there should be a number (24 hr) in the front of your mat notes for advice and reassurance.
here is a link to a contraction timer if you need one http://www.contractionmaster.com/
sure someone will be along in a min with more experience - wishing you all the best:beer:0 -

Also if that one is meant to be new take it back you are entitled to a new one as it must be faulty, don't be fobbed off by the old but you have used it stuff. HTH
LCK i had that with DS and it lead up to the labor later that week, it can come on and disappear in a second. try to relax see if they get more pain full in an hour if not go for a sleep. They can last for hours in the days before full blown labor. just check your bags just in case, good luck, and vibes to you.[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Thank you very much three:D0

THANKS. Currently using stop watch on my phone. Think I might give it a bit longer and see if its consistent, will also take a look at contraction manager link as that will probably be easier to use.
