I only get bored cause i get lonely :o:o

When the baby is here i'll be ok :D
I've been making a plan of things to do over the next 4 months until the baby is here, alot of it is wedding planning, which is only 6 months and 2 weeks away! :D

Wow I kinda miss planning our wedding! I'm lucky though cos when I'm at home in the DH is too so we always have a nice time together. Can't wait til it's all 3 of us at home!

Yay for last day, EA! Lou, is it your last day too or is that next week? I can't remember!!

DH found it very amusing last night that he was sleeping with his arm draped over my bump and the baby was kicking his arm! :D

Can't believe you could sleep with his arm on your bump! I'd be pushing DH off me if he did that I think, it's hard enough to get comfy as it is.

SJ – how cute the baby liking Japanese noodles.

    Lovely bump SJ:D

Does anyone have a birth plan in or with their notes – there’s no space / from to complete for one in mine – I only want to note a couple of things down but all the forms I have seen seem to miss out some bits of info and i was wondering if there was a standard nhs one to make it easier for the mw to read?

I know! I think he likes most food though to be honest, I get a lot of movement during and just after eating. He must take after his mum and dad!!
    Thanks!
I think I do but it's at home. I'll happily check later and scan and email it over if you like.
Glad you found out the problem with your notes too and good that they seem to be so understanding of your situation

Oh, and just had this email about 24 hour sale on Monday at Mamas & Papas, 10% off everything includin already reduced items CLICKY if anyone's interested.

Congrats on team pink LilacBelle :)

EA enjoy your last day and think of all the lazy morning you get to have before baby arrives :)

JHA glad things got sorted :) & thanks for info on TENS, think I'll pop into a pharmacy and ask them, would think they'd know? Thankfully wasn't anywhere near as bad a night last night as had been the nights before so hopefully the back problems were temporary (wishful thinking!)

Right cats have food, now time for me to do a bit of work. Also need to get some paint so OH can finish the nursery painting this weekend, really not sure what to do, we have those 3 birds to paint if anyone can remember from the pics...Homebase only had pants colours & I'm far too lazy to go to B&Q as it's miles away...might try Wilko's...hmm, but then I still don't know what colour I want, hope something jumps out at me!

Just had a look JHA and on page 16 of my notes there's a page called "Your preferences for your baby's birth", then a list of Qs, presumably you've not got this? I've not got a scanner but could take a pic so you can see how it's listed?

  • Morning all, yay for last day EA!! And well done PP for getting on with your xmas shopping, I need some xmas shopping vibes, lol!!

Well Ive got to dash shortly and walk my dogs then a couple of others. Just to say Im still here, still nothing happening, grr. I have got a midwife appt this afternoon so I am hoping she might do a sweep but Im not sure if its too early as Im only a couple of days overdue? If not though, they only do appts on Fridays so I would have to wait until I was 9 days overdue?? Oh well, I'll do what she thinks is best. Just want things to get moving!! Fingers crossed for GISI, boog & charliedavis :)

After MW appt, I have gotta go and collect some 0-3 boys clothes I won on ebay (from my town), turns out I sorta know the person we bought them off!!

Hope you all have good days, I'll let you know how I get on at MW later!! xx

Ooh, I'll be interested to hear how you go at the MW. I think they vary so much she may well do you a sweep if you want one.

Lilac- huge congrats on team pink!

jha- I've just done a rough birth plan on normal paper and put it in with my notes folder. Things like what pain relief I do and don't want, who is to hold baby first, skin to skin etc. It's about half an A4 written page. I got the headings from my Emma's Diary!

Not much happening here. I'm quite twingey but I wonder if that is just because baby is too big for my abdomen now?!

Thats how it usually is cause we work exactly the same shifts, but now i'll be at home alone until he gets home :(
Gives me a chance to catch up on sleep though :D
Well Done :) I dont think I can ever get away from it lol, I love my farmville

Haha i loved it to, i downloaded the ipod version of it the other day, it was rubbish so i had to delete it :p

On my notes i have a green bit of paper which says "your birth plan" at the top, and then loads of check boxes and notes sections. But mine is for the MW to fill out when she's discussing it with me i think

believe you could sleep with his arm on your bump! I'd be pushing DH off me if he did that I think, it's hard enough to get comfy as it is.

Well it was spooning, so he was behind me with his arm wrapped over me IYSWIM? It IS hard to get comfy but I don't mind this position! :p

jha - I can't remember if my book had room for notes, so I was just going to type up something and print it off - I think on websites like Baby Centre and the like they have birth plan ideas. MW said we would cover that at the 36wk appt, so I'll do mine after that (even though I already know what I want). Oh and for your other question...palpable is how much they can feel, so the lower the number the better but it's the opposite for engaged. So 1/5 palpable means 4/5 engaged, which means bubs is almost locked and loaded...is that what you meant??

  • Morning ladies,

Im still in my PJ's as we have no running water until 11 because some works being done on a house down the road. (Luckily OH filled the kettle before he left for work so I can have a brew) I thought Id take what might be my last opportunity for a slob around too :D Bumps quite twingy, lots of pickles but belly monkeys still quiet. Poor things completely out of space!

Congrats on team pink lilacbelle :j

Yay for last day EA - you'll be amazed how you manage to fill the time!

JHA - glad things are sorted now with midwife/hospital. My birth plans never been mentioned by my midwife, they havent told me to do one so Ive just wrote bullet points of whats important to me/what Id ideally like to happen on an A5 card and put that in the front of my folder.

Aless my OH sleeps hugging bump too, if she doesnt like it she soon lets him know and gives him a dig :rotfl:

PP - glad your feeling a bit better today and well done on being so organised for bubbas arrival and xmas.
    Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j
