SJ - my sainsburys still had several of the outfits left and at £2 instead of £7 a great bargain. I'm gonna look for Xmas outfits to put away too, hopefully work will have some and I can get discount too :D I figure for the short time they wear them its silly paying full price. Your bump is looking good too :D
Thanks very much. I don't have a Sainsbury that near to me so don't ever end up just passing one but I may make a trip this weekend as they do some icing that I like that is a lot cheaper than other shops!
Sorry you were upset last night. I know what you mean about once you get into that state it's hard to get yourself out of it. I usually only find I feel better after I've been to sleep :o

PP glad you managed to eat something, hope you can eat some more today

Can't really remember what else I wanted to say but labour vibes to those in need! And a big whoop whoop for the weekend!!
  • OOh EA how exciting last day at work! I'm so jealous! I'm pretty sure I won't be bored when I finish working.

DH found it very amusing last night that he was sleeping with his arm draped over my bump and the baby was kicking his arm! :D

  • Morning all, yay for last day EA!! And well done PP for getting on with your xmas shopping, I need some xmas shopping vibes, lol!!

Well Ive got to dash shortly and walk my dogs then a couple of others. Just to say Im still here, still nothing happening, grr. I have got a midwife appt this afternoon so I am hoping she might do a sweep but Im not sure if its too early as Im only a couple of days overdue? If not though, they only do appts on Fridays so I would have to wait until I was 9 days overdue?? Oh well, I'll do what she thinks is best. Just want things to get moving!! Fingers crossed for GISI, boog & charliedavis :)

After MW appt, I have gotta go and collect some 0-3 boys clothes I won on ebay (from my town), turns out I sorta know the person we bought them off!!

Hope you all have good days, I'll let you know how I get on at MW later!! xx

Well my CWM got to the bottom of the mix up yesterday. They use name add & number labels on everything here and someone had stuck one of my labels on someone else’s c section paperwork. I do hope the other lady didn’t leave antenatal thinking she was ok to then be called back about the C-section.

Thanks for the reminder aless about consent etc :D– it’s just at that moment I was furious at the lack of confidentiality and shocked at the events – obviously I wouldn’t let them do anything with out my consent. But you are completely right and I hope we all remember you words when the time comes. :D

We are going for tens machine for early labour and then an early epidural which can be topped up as necessary / if required as soon as labour is established as she has had a look at my spine and due to maternal bmi it will be tricky getting the line in so she would rather do it prior to any horrendous pain which might make it difficult for me to sit curled up. if I need an emergency c/section they can just top it up and go - as they don’t want to give any other form of anaesthesia due to the problems I have with them and they agree that pethadine and entonox might not be the way to go given the sensitivities I have to codeine and other strong pain relieving drugs. If I do need an elective section they are just going to give me epidural and then proceed.:D I think they have been very pro-active at discussing and sorting this at 32 weeks. And i am hopeful to still have a scan at 36 weeks for presentation and size - we might find out the flavour yet:D

Fidget – all the best for Dylan’s toung tie operation today

Princess – glad you managed to get out to town yesterday. :D I do get the feeling that my waters are going to break / I am going to have an accident but it comes and goes and is something to do with the baby’s position. and yay for getting the last few things and being ready for baby – I have just finished getting everything and it is a great feeling isn’t it. :j

SJ – how cute the baby liking Japanese noodles.

Thanks for the tip on the rug doctor nikkit

Gymfiend – my tens which is for labour and can be used generally afterwards comes with instructions not to use it until week 37 so might be worth checking with a gp. Hang on I noticed som’s midwife says it’s ok so maybe it’s just the company being super cautious.

Boogleyboo – yay for getting your bump cast done:j

    Lovely bump SJ:D

    Lovely scan pic Musogirl:D

    Congrats on team pink lilacbelle:D

Yay for your last day EA:j

Can I ask a couple of questions please::o

Does anyone know what the terminology is for a baby that is at the brim of the pelvis so it can’t move around anymore – I only know the engaged information not the palpable?

Does anyone have a birth plan in or with their notes – there’s no space / from to complete for one in mine – I only want to note a couple of things down but all the forms I have seen seem to miss out some bits of info and i was wondering if there was a standard nhs one to make it easier for the mw to read?
