Redmel peacocks also do some what i call skater style jeans which are a very baggy style and i love them they have plenty of room and easily last until i am huge and i do get huge. :-)

    I MUST FIND THESE!!!!!
Been desperate for some slouchy jeans!!!! :D

Been out for an hour walking the dog, not sure who is more tired, him or me.

Some stupid woman had her dog off lead, so it came running up to meet Gordon. They were kinda unsure of each other but I had Gordon on a lead so he was ok, and then she asks me to grab her dog because its not responding to her calls. By this point Im kneeling on the floor with Gordon, with my legs either side of him (makes him feel contained and safer while they meet, and bleeding 31 weeks pregnant, so I didnt grab her dog (a staffy)

So she eventually saunters over and grabs her dog (who I was feeding treats to keep them both calm) and then she notices im pregnant and says to me "Oh I see, I didnt realise you were pregnant, in that case dont worry about not grabbing her"

 I wasnt! Its not my responsibility to grab hold of a dog I dont know from adam, pregnant or otherwise.....

Got a few household bits to do today, DH finishes work at 8. he was really unwell last night, came in and just went straight to bed, we hardly spoke :o but he was giving baby hugs this morning before he got up, which I think cheered him up as baby was rolling about under his hand.

Budgetblonde - Like Gill said it was brown blood , Id be more worried if it was red. Its reassuring that you saw the heartbeat and movements so I would'nt be worried now, best to try and relax. I know its easier said than done. Im sure everythings fine.

You should be feeling the movements anytime now. Lie still and see if you can feel them, we're often busy in life that we cant dont always notice them. My OH felt ours move at the same time that I felt the first movement at 16wks, just by placing his hand there.

Budget - Just wanted to echo what everyone else has said as well.
Mine didnt move much on my first scans, and sonographer kept rubbing the probe on him trying to knock him into action, but hey like most people, if we dont wanna do something, we just dont do it.....
Mine hides the goodies as well.....

If you're gonna have any kind of blood, its best to be brown blood. Take it easy today, and if you get more worried at any point, any pains, more blood etc get yourself back to hospital.

Big hugs and vibes for you xx

    .

Stupid old witch what a ridiculous thing to say, how dare she?

Thanks everyone for the reassurance, I feel a bit better now. I've always been very lucky with my health and never had anything worse than flu so being rushed to hospital was very scary, espcially as it's not just my health I'm watching!
I'm going to hoover and then finish the easter eggs while OH is doing over time :T:rotfl:

They both have the bump bands - I haven't seen any extra stretchy ones in Peacocks so looks at tho they may have just totally changed them.

Oh right...the normal ones were what I had last time and they were fab....They have changed them to the bump band type which are naff (for me) the others were so comfy and came really high over bump....

I think dh wants to go out to Maplin today so while we're out I may drag everyone to Matalan..wonder if I can find something else of interest in the same direction;)

I had the most chronic indigestion earlier, after eating egg on toast...I literally couldn't breathe or move it hurt so much! Fine now though, lay on the sofa for an hour cos even after pain went I felt mega sick...good job the LO is napping so I had a bit of peace:D

    Hello everyone
Haven't been on for a while and haven't caught up on all posts but hope everyone is well.
I had a horrible day yesterday. Went to the loo and I was bleeding (brown and thick) so eventually managed to get through to hospital who told me to come in. They couldn't find fhb so went to get another machine, and STILL couldn't find it. Then I was transferred down to a delivery suite so they could scan me. Eventually, they managed to find my baby but it was lying quite still :( It did do a little leg kick and the heart was beating, the mw said it looks "fine" but I would have been happier if it was moving about. I haven't felt anything yet and am 16+1 so am hoping it will be soon!
I'm also rh- so they took about another 4 vials of blood and gave me the Anti D (which really flipping hurts!) and we went home 5 hours later. The doctor examined me and couldn't see anything obvious to explain the bleed so I'm no better off really.
I feel very upset. I didn't get much reassurance and it seems all I can do now is rest and wait to see my own mw on Wednesday :(:(
Do you think we'll be OK? I hear that bleeding does happen and doesn't always mean a problem ...?

    Hi

I had bleeding pretty much every two weeks with my last pregnancy, up until I was around 20wks..baby was fine and is now a lively 1yr old...it definitely doesn't always mean bad news:)
I wouldn't worry about movements yet either, it may not happen until nearer the 20wk mark, and even at my 22wk appt she said they only really worry about you feeling movements from 28wks onwards!!

You can ask you midwife to listen to the heartbeat, as they don't always do it as routine now, well my lot don't but told me to ask if I want a listen....

Thanks Smartie - I like most of those girls names too and have done for years - so frustrating that they become popular when we need to use them lol! (altho mine is obviously a boy :))
