is RLT one cup a day from 32 weeks?

just eaten a whole pack of maryland cookies.... opps....

will have some apple juice in vain attempt to correct the balance between good and evil :)

Yes I think that it was 1 cup from 32 w.
I didn't start til 34 w tho and at 37+2 I'm still only having 1. Mainly because when I had dd2 I heard about RLT and was recommended starting it at 36w having 1 cup a day and she was born within an hour so I am hoping that I may not need it too much and didn't want to make things too relaxed lol:rotfl:

Just noticed Jopsey has a name for her baby but will give her time to announce herself:D...............( but it's gawgus)

Lol thanks xmas, all I knew was you could start at 32w.... OMG there is NO WAY I could drink 4 RLT's a day yuk yuk yuk, heartburn guarenteed!!!

When we were last in matalan their "radio" station was announcing maternity wear and I went skipping round everywhere trying to find it! And never had it... such a pain....

All my trousers are now tight. Ive taken to just wearing my pyjama bottoms all day which are a 12-14.....think I can keep this up till June? LOL

I dont really know why im in a mood, i shouldnt be really, the dog has slept most of the day, although has been barking at god knows what in the garden, which im sure annoys our neighbours (it would do me!) all afternoon which frustrates me because he just wont shut up!
I've even got something off the fairy exchange on facebook which is cool.

I think im just bored.... DH normally works 3 long days then is off for 3, but he's got overtime tomorrow, 12 hours at double rate, so he'd be foolish to turn it down, but it means another day on my own, and one less day with him....
Oh and my feet really ache, right on the tops, like they've been stomped on....
and i ate too many cookies and now i feel sick!

And dont worry, it didnt sound skanky..... well it might of had you not mentionned showering LOL I find I cant get comfy in the bath anymore, im too much of a midget. have to lay with my legs pointed to touch other end of bath to keep me from drowning, and then it gives me neck ache and yadda yadda yadda LOL

LOL Choccy @ too relaxed... I need all the relaxation I can get..... I used to work in a tea shop, so have had raspberry leaf tea before....but yeah 4 a day is gonna be a push... maybe he'll have popped out before i get to 4 a day!

Choccy the most i could manage was two a day with vimto added for taste but i bought some of the tablets and they are so much easier :-)

I think we must be bored cafc i alwasy get tetchy when im bored. As for the bath im a shorty to so i have a small inflatable lilo type thing so i can lay back with out sliding under it was a kiddy thing from poundland but it does the job. i prefer my dads bath though he has one of those half size things with the seat in it and its so comfy :-)
:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j
  • Yeah I have been adding apple and blackcurrant squash to mine as I find they are so bland but give major heatrburn at the same time. Also I have got a major thirst for 'normal' tea too so that usually wins out to RLT hehe. I haven't had one today so had prob better have one now *sulk*.

I've been taking a pg vitamin which includes iron (from asda) as I have always been anaemic when pg and it seems to have kept my iron levels up but I only have 9 left and 19 days to EDD so I'd better get some more just for the 10 days???? As it's important not to be anaemic for the birth surely??? Is this right.

I have such a little testosterone-fuelled baby tonight. We had steak for tea, and were watching the British Super Bikes and bubs was going totally insane. This baby loves motorbikes whatever it is (good thing really, cos I can't see it's daddy getting rid of his anytime soon)

I still fit ok in the bath, though I find I have to part fill it, get in and then top it up, can't use as much water as I used too. I'm a clumsy oaf though, so it won't be too long before OH has to haul me out for my own safety.

  • Hi everyone, hope you're all enjoying the lovely weekend?
We had a lovely day today - went to Tarr Steps on Exmoor and had a lovely walk in the sun, followed by ice-cream! Yum! DD really enjoyed it and didn't stop skipping the whole way.

Moosmummy - wow Izzy is gorgeous - so cute!

Awww and Jopsey's little girl is lovely too....I want my little man!

Redrose -wait till you get your aptamil polar bear - now that is cute!

Smartie - can you share what the predicted top ten names for 2010 from your book are please? I've had a name picked for months but these last few days I'm worrying that's a bit 'common' as I seem to have seen a lot of them about. Can't find anything else that suits him better (in my head!) tho lol

Suzy - wow I love you :) I think my bump is making my bum looked small, I was very pleased with it in the pics coz it's definitely not normally lol (but can't believe I didn't spot the type until Redmel pointed it out!!)

RE raspberry leaf tea - I actually love it, which I'm so shocked about as I really didn't expect to. I can't wait to start 4 a day from tomorrow. Holland and barratt do a box of 50 now which is cheaper than the boxes of 20, although the teabags are just round and not attached to a paper thing. (and yes I did work out the price per teabag on my phone in the shop lol!)

The other bonus of RLT is that I dont find any food goes with it so I'm not tempted to reach for the biscuits of chocolate like I would with a normal brew!

Wedding actually went really well and my friends have had a sweepstake on when bubs will come! They're putting in a fiver each and if noone wins it goes in baby's trust fund! None of them think I'll go early :( They said I'm too active and not whinging enough lol. We;ve got a prediction for 1st May, 2nd May, 5th, 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th! I intend to fool them all and go at the end of April :rotfl:
