    Hi everybody
I haven't been on for a while so have probably missed lots of news and new babies -still need to read through the posts to catch up but....
Congratulations to all new mums and welcome new babies(I'm not naming names as I don't want to leave anybody out accidently)
Welcome to all those who have recently joined us.

Got My hipg paid into account today only sent it out on the 25march so a quick response and I didn't get any letter just checked my online account and it's there.I hope you recieve yours asap cafcgirl -It's not nice waiting when you really need it.

Im packing my hospital bags as I'm almost 28 weeks and have been told that baby might have to appear by 34 weeks as I am struggling with all the back and spine pain and they want to monitor me to avoid any problems-Hope I don't jump the q though I'm wasn't due until july6.

Just a small question-What toiletries should I take for baby to hospital?I've seen some mini versions of johnsons in boots but don't know what to take or not to take or should I just stick to nappies and cotton wool. It's going to be a c section so will be staying in for at least 3 days .
    Love can tame the wildest

As it is a section I'd suggest maybe a small bottle of baby bath.. they can be quite bloody. Otherwise I'd not bother bathing him until you get home.

I'd say nothing, as it's easy to stick to cotton wool in the hospital. I was in for ever with ds and took advantage of the bathing demonstrations. His first bath was carried out by a professional :D. It is nice to get the remnants off their heads...;)
Although if baby's coming at 34 weeks, maybe you just want to keep them warm...

    Hi all,

I've been feeling like flutterings, like muscle spasms just to the bottom left of my belly button and wondered if anyone else had them in early pg and what are they?? I did google but can only find reports of people saying its bubs(I doubt it is at 10/11wks!!) not important, just curious as it took me by surprise:o

And before anyone asks its not gas:p.....I can tell the difference even though my DH begs to differ:rotfl:

Unlikely to be bubs, as it's near your belly button, that's more of a 20 week area isn't it? I'd be jealous if it was, I had to wait till 22 weeks to feel anything with ds. I'd go for random spasms, you get a lot of random sensations.

I miss flutterings, this bubs is making me wince, I mean, how do they know where your organs are at that age :rotfl:.

I need an idiot's guide to making up a moses basket! Took me long enough to figure out how to get the cover back on (think I've managed but doesn't look quite right!!) but how do I make it up properly/safely with sheet and blanket? I've put a fitted sheet on the mattress and have a flat sheet and cellular blanket....I've tucked the excess around the mattress but it's just made to bottom of the mattress really bulky and uneven. Is that the way to do it or should I be folding them in half? I feel like a right numpty lol
