Morning everyone!

How are we all? I can't believe I only have 5 days until baby is here!

Think I'm gonna start to panic at the weekend! Have already written out a list of jobs for hubby to do before baby gets here. I cleaned the bathroom yesterday apart from the bath as I can't lean over, gonna try and clean the living room this afternoon. Received a parcel today from my dad and his wife with more baby stuff, so that will be going in the washing machine today. I should also be getting a parcel tomorrow from my mum, with more baby stuff and some nighties for me for hospital.

We found out yeserday from the full amnio reults (which are all fine) that we're having a little girl. It should be interesting, I don't really do pink, lol

Jolene - know the feeling. Just remembered that my daughter's been invited to a birthday party on Sat 17th, and although my mum has said that she'll take her if I'm not feeling up to it, I had better try and buy a present before I go in... I wonder how many other things like that I haven't remembered yet?

The talk and tour went well at the hospital last night - seems pretty well organised and looks ok. Debating at the moment whether I would want to stay in for a night if I have an easy labour. We can either go in a pod room with 3 other women or pay £50 for a side room. If I do stay I think I would want to pay coz I can't think of anything worse than rooming in with 3 strangers when I feel like carp!

They only have 2 rooms with pools in the birthing centre, everyone one else has to go to the delivery suites. It sounds like most people who want a water birth get it tho as you can't have an epidural or lie down in the rooms in the birthing centre

Hey All

Madwife this morning, yet another face for me to meet, and she was convinced she knew me... from somewhere, and then says "maybe a past life" and laughs and then falls over herself trying to tell me she doesnt believe in all that stuff, but doesnt discount the possibility but is respectful of all beliefs LOL Was so funny!

Results all came back as fine, measuring as i should. Had a feel and she think he is head down, and then i pointed out where last midwife thought his head was so she feels there and says on yeah I can see why she thinks that, theres definitely a large hard mass there!

And then leaves it at that LOL Im not sure if she means it may be his backside....he had a right move around though when she started poking, and she jumped LOL You think she'd be prepared for a baby to move....

Said to come back in 2 weeks if my itching isnt any better, but perhaps to make appt with gp to get some tablets. Dont really want to do that, would rather just slather myself in e45 cream.

Still not had my HiPG money back in, and its now 2 weeks since i had the letter so going to have to call them. I allowed extra time for bank holidays etc, btu now im really desperate for the money!
Got to do my maternity allowance forms today as well, really must must must. All kick my backside if I havent!!!!

Babys white clothes are now all hanging on the line in bright brilliant sunshine being watched over by Gordon who is sunning himself. Next load will go on soon.

Am kinda excited bcause there is now more women after me than ahead of me LOL..... now it feels like Im coming to the end!!!

Hi all, well i went to the docs yest, they said my blood pressure was very low but ok, but they were more concerned as i had a chest infection. They wanted to put me on steroids straight away, as I get very ill with my asthma, I said I didnt want to take any with being pregnant as I dont want the baby having any steroids. They wern't best pleased, but have advised me to rest and stay at home to recover, if I get any worse I have got to call an ambulance. I felt stressed but I didnt really think my asthma was too bad, well its always bad so I just put up with it.

So I am off work! And its a beautiful day just doing some washing but OH has told me I am not allowed to do anything!

Last nite OH phoned me wen I had finished work and said he had a job on the west coast (west wales, he is a service engineer!) and asked if I wanted to come, so I did, so last night we walked on the sea front, in the hot sun eating KFC, it was lovely

I'd be the same as you and not want anything transferring to baby.

OH keeps telling me not to do anything and just relax, but I just get so bored!

Thanks CAFC, I get bored too! Plus I am watching TV now and can see dust on the stand, and its driving me mad, might just hoover it off OH probably wont even notice lol!

Driving me mad as I've got a mate coming over tonight and I want the place to be spotless, so I wana sweep/ mop floor, dust everywhere, hoover sofas and clean bathroom, but I know OH will go mad, and the dust will probably make me ill!

i'd just hoover everything, very slowly.....including all the things that need dusting.... open out the windows if you can, let some fresh air in and some dust out.....
I need to clean our kitchen, the floor is minging, and has all these little paw prints all over it LOL but we've got no bucket for the mop!

Just sat down with a big old lunch as well, got a big tiger roll with chicken, cheese and mayo, bag of crisps and two fromage frais's....i need to eat more!!!

Thats a good idea CACF! I know OH will come home later and say he cant be bothered, he has got a day off today and has gone upto his mums to open out our tent (it got very wet wen we last used it) altho I have to admit I do not want to sleep in that thing again! I am still traumatised from the storm we got caught in!!!

Ooh I might have some pineapple for lunch, got a massive one in the kitchen that needs eating!
