Thanks for the advise regarding my work, feel better today but then it could just be my manager isnt in! Going to the docs this avo just for an asthma review but am hoping they might suggest signing me off, like they did last time (and stupidly i refused!) just need a couple of days to get my head straight, before i totally loose it, maybe theres something about when you hit around 20 weeks, everything seems to get abit chaotic?!?

    jopsey... cartwheels, star jumps etc;)

I had a travel cot as a playpen for DS - brilliant to pop him in if the doorbell went, coffee needed etc. We'll get one after bean has arrived and is a little bigger:)

Awful sickness and now I'm craving KFC!! I don't even like KFC that much:rotfl:I have a feeling I'm never going to "bloom" as I feel like crap all the time:(

Going to meet SIL in Bristol tomorrow with DH and DS... and I'm going to [STRIKE]force[/STRIKE] convince them we need to go in some baby shops;) I have felt right getting baby stuff up until now:o

Hugs for those with naughty men and naughty bosses!

    Morning ladies

Lots of Labour Vibes for Jopsey!!

Redstar and Jolene - can't believe you will have babies this time in a week!! Esp Redstar as I've followed you right the way from the ttc thread. Don't want you to leave as well :( lol

Kitkat - hope you get on at the doctors. It would definitely be worth mentioning how difficult your finding work atm and hopefully he'll sign you off to give you a rest. If not you can self cert for a week so you could still tell your boss that you've been to doctor and he's advised you to take a week off....you might find it's enough to sort your head out. The 18 - 22 week stage was definitely the worst for me and it took 2.5 weeks off work sick to sort me out properly...if I'd done it sooner then maybe wouldn't have needed as long or got in such a state.

Agutka - good to 'see' you, was thinking about you the other day as you hadn't posted for a while. Do not blame yourself - does your OH not realise that you've been pregnant for the last 8 months, making motivating yourself to tidy up/sort out very difficult, esp when you've already got a little one to look after! I agree that a good bout of tears is always a good way to make him realise just how much it is getting to you, and definitely make a list and give him specific jobs to do

Smartie - don't worry, there is still hope for you, I finally 'bloomed' about 3 weeks ago....when I was 33 weeks lol.

Not impressed with the weather today. Was going to walk to the midwife for my 36 week appointment but will have to drive now instead....on the positive side at least I won't be as tired and should get a bit more sorting out done. Finally going to the hospital we'll be using tonight for a talk and tour....unfortunately on a night when Man Utd are playing at home so traffic will be chaos. Poor DH was offered a free ticket through work and had to turn it down so he could come to hospital lol....this baby will be told about his Daddy's big sacrifice forever if they win :)

Jopsey - lots and lots of labour vibes on their way to you!
Kitkat - definitely mention to the dr that you're feeling stressed at work, if he doesn't sign you off, I would suggest making lots of pointed remarks in front of your boss about how stressed you feel, and how the dr said that stress isn't good for you when pregnant etc, and wouldn't be a shame if dr had to sign you off - hopefully he'll take the hint....
Smartie - hope you're feeling better soon, sickness - go away! Enjoy your shopping in Bristol.
Gill - I can't believe I'll have my little man in less than a week now, and not that much longer for you either!!!
Been feeling a bit rubbish this morning, really suffering from heartburn and after I dropped my daughter at nursery, I started feeling a lot of pressure 'down there' when I walk. DH keeps ringing home to check that I'm ok and remind me to ring him if anything happens - I think I might remember somehow!!! He just wants any excuse to leave work!!!
Repacked my humongous hospital bag (that I can't even begin to lift!) into my smaller sports bag and changing bag - they're now crammed full.... how on earth does everyone manage to pack everything (I know I'm not the most organised packer, but really!!!! 4 days worth of stuff for me and baby needs a lot of room....)?
    Anyway, hope everyone's ok.
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

    Hi ladies,

Sorry I've not posted for a while, but would be grateful for some advice.

I'm currently 16 +2 weeks and at the moment am getting awful cramping under and around my quite small bump. I had these pains last night, lasted around 5 mins - but just put it down to being on my feet in the kitchen last night preparing dinner. They came on just as I sat down to eat.

I'm currently sitting with my feet up on the couch, but have had these
pains for the last 20 mins. The pain is starting to ease a bit now, but still there. DH wants me to go to the hospital to be checked, but don't want to get there and the pain will probably be gone, and feel like I've wasted their time. Forgot to say, I do have a hospital appointment tomorrow, so would see MW tomorrow.

    Anyone had this before? :o

Thanks Pigpen, hoping it's only that. Was just a bit worried, as never had this in my first pregnancy, only slight cramping, this is really sore. I'll mention it tomorrow at my appointment.
