    Hi everyone :j

Does anyone have any ideas how I can get OH to start acting like he has a baby on the way? He could be here in 2 weeks, max 4 and I can't do anything anymore. The house is a mess, the garden even more so, I'm not packed and baby stuff isn't ready. And OH is either 'tired' or playing on the computer. He blames me (quite rightly, but that's hardly helpful at this stage) for 'not sorting stuff earlier' and I'm so hormonal I keep taking it out on ds or the poor dog.

Ooohh.. good luck to redstararnie and Jolene with their dates! :j

Kitkat: you really do need to have a stern talk to your boss. He is out of order.

Wooo.. Jopsey! Hope everything goes ok and major labour vibes for you!

Gillby: hope bubs decides to flip... got my next app on Thurs and hope head is still engaged or there abouts... although I can feel a big bulge up towards my chest, not sure whether this is bum or head!

Started collecting items for mine and bubs bag today- got some comfy nighties from Matalan that have buttons at front along with a pretty spotty mat/bf bra. :p I think I have all bubs' stuff now although I was thinking if I should take 2 sizes for him/her in case theyre big or (hopefully) little?

Had evening sickness come back the past 3 days now :( Not nice. And Im always hot. Keep battling with DH over the central heating! He puts it on, I turn it off!

Has anyone heard from mermaid? Hope shes ok!

Start sorting yourself out first and then he will see that youre doing it too and hopefully that will have some sort of effect on him. My DH has noticed ive started moving things and seems to have took the hint.

And if not.. you could always hide the power lead to his computer. ;)

Agutka have you actually told him what needs doing i mean like right down to basics ive found with some men unless you give them step by step instructions they get a bit overwelmed ie: if is say to other half house needs tidying he will go oh ok i will help then he sits there looking lost so i do a little list now which says i'm going to do abc and you do 123 he thens knows exactly what he has to do and gets on with it :-)

Agutka have you tried writing out a list of ALL that needs doing, then there will be some things only you can do, but the rest he can work his way through. If all else fails hide the console! Or snip the controller wire and claim you must have mice :D

Basically he needs to man up, and sort something out, you say it is your own fault but it is NOT your fault he is being useless and not helping you out. Like Pigpen say's have a cry, then produce a list of all you have to do and ask him to get some of the things ticked off of it.

ETA! Jopseys bubba, get a wriggle on little one! :D x

Agutka, I'm with Xmas as my OH is quite similar. He's not dumb, but needs explaining what needs done or he just doesn't do it.

Jopsey, sounds like things are heading in the right direction at least. Good luck and hoping bubby appears soon!

I can totally recommend Bio Oil for scarring if anyone's interested. I started putting it on my pancake disaster burn yesterday, and already it looks soooo much better. Much less red and sore looking, and it was a nasty burn. My own stupid fault, but I showed my little cousins it anyway so they know why mummy doesn't like them in the kitchen!
