Labour vibes to maureen and jopsey, I'd like some too but had better let you two go first I guess. :D

38+3 today and my first bub came on her own at 38+4 - but then the second kept me hanging around until 41+1. They're not letting me go over this time but still could be waiting a while yet and I just want him here now, feel as though I have been pregnant for years!

Yeah I found dry pailing best too, I used to put a flannel in the bottom with a few drops of tea tree on it, then it just went in on a nappy wash. With the stainy, yellow newborn poo I did used to rinse them out a bit first then chuck them in the dry pail bucket, but I think this was prob unnecesary. There is a bit of stainage on some of my nappies but thats because we haven't had any blooming sunshine for tooooo long! Once I can hang them out on the line they will be fine!

I used fleece liners as DD had a reaction to the throw away one but I just bought a poundland fleece blanket and cut it up- 12 liners for £1- very MSE!

I also used the re-useable wipes, but managed to pick up a set of 'hot towels' intended for restaurant use (all brand new, rolled up in a tray with tweezers inc :D 25 wipes for 50p and I bought 2 packs. Like pigpen mentioned though, cheap fleece blanket is fine cut up, or an old towel if you can be bothered to hem edges, or cheap face cloths (I did see a pack of 5 in poundland but was a while ago.)

ETA! Big Congrats to rose- tinted! x

We've had our car vandalised (other cars along our road too) and a lad who lives a few doors away had yet another party... until gone 8 this morning:mad::mad::mad: It was bad:(

I phoned the police about car firstly (at about 11.30pm) as I heard it being done and it seems a neighbour has CCTV so hopefully it'll be on there. Waiting for police to phone back.

Then I phoned about the stupidly loud music, shouting and dodgey looking boys hanging around.... and they can't do F all about it!!!:mad::mad: But as the lad is living by himself cos his mum recently died they may treat it as a "welfare case" if it happens again. Got to go to environmental health tomorrow as well.

*big sigh* no blimin sleep and I'm stressed:(

    Sorry for the rant:o

I'll vouch for you Smartie at criminal trial but only if you tell us whats up!

Had a really broken nights sleep, woke up at 3:30am and just couldnt get back to sleep. Had really bad heartburn as well..... think I ate my pizza too late.....came downstairs and had a glass of milk but it didnt really seem to help....

Sun is shining today but its really windy..... but still got the backdoor open and the dog is sunning himself on the back step and we're getting some air through the house.....
