kitkat - don't mind at all! In some ways it's probably ott but i manage projects at work and it's how i'd do things there! Plus DH likes to know potential budgets (he's the money man!) After 2 friends have said they are going to come up with lists of what they have to offer us I am not going to buy anything else til we see those, don't want to buy stuff we could have for free!

Thanks Rach! I use spreadsheets at work all the time, I do the accounts for the charity I work for so I love being organised, I did start a spreadsheet but I didn't think about budgets/ actuals (slightly worrying as I should with the job I'm in!) but I am enjoying updating it, I budget the RRP and it makes me feel happy knowing how much I have saved from the bits I have bought (sterilser, bottles, breast pump, breast pads, bibs, bottle warmer, etc)

Just won an auction on ebay for some cute little baby boots :) they're just like Ugg boots, ordered some in tan so they can be unisex. I keep telling OH the baby has to hav these boots so they can be just like me, lol, as I live in mine. :rotfl:

Hi all, just popping in to say hello, although I'm on the under 12wks pregnant board at the moment, I will probs flit between the two :D

I just found out I'm pregnant on Friday, so 2 days ago :rotfl: I was on the pill, so it wasn't planned, however both me and OH discussed having kids in the future, so it's just brought it forwards a bit I guess.

The first day of my last period was 26th February, so am I right in thinking I'm 4 weeks? I did two Tesco cheapy tests, but didn't use first morning urine, which I have since read is more accurate. Though both are positive so I guess that's all that matters.

I am hoping to get a doctor's appointment tomorrow to get it confirmed. Though I have been having cramps, some back ache, sickness and tiredness so something is definitely going on :o

I still can't get my head around it :o

Anyway, hello all, hope you are all well :j

Thanks kitkat, I'm sure I'll be asking question after question! I have bought a couple of magazines to read and just reading through some older posts on this forum. Steering clear of the birth stories though :rotfl:

Hi ladies hope you all having a good Sunday.

Thanks to Rach and everyone that added to the list, think I will do the same and add it to a spreadsheet then keep track on buying everything. Think may take some time off in May and do some shopping!

Had a great day yesterday with my niece and nephews, my niece who is nearly 3 kept saying I had a baby where my boobs are!

Congratulations Digital 4wks sounds about right for your dates. I caught on the pill with my first two its a bit of a shock isnt it. Ask away with your questions i think between us we have pretty much been through everything that can possibly happen so someone will know an answer for you and dont be frightened of the birth stories most of them arent that bad and even the cringy ones still had a wonderfull outcome :-)
