Lmao cafc i was a little shocked the first time i read that as well but apparently it works however its not easy to do when your 38wks pregnant i usually resorted to the OH inserting it for me :-)

I used my bio oil for the perenial massage although i still had a very small tear after giving birth but it was very small and healed really quickly :-)

Edit: sorry that should read perinneal, perenials are garden plants aint they. You could try massaging those i suppose but i cant see how it would help in labour lol :-)

Quick update as I'm getting a tad excited. Been having twinges every 20 minutes since about 2pm. definately stronger than BH but maybe thats because I have no waters now?
    xx x x

It isn't possible to have no water as your body creates more constantly.. it is just less than it was.. I thought it was most amusing how soft my tummy felt after waters had broken... was qite odd.

Either way.. baby fish will be out of water very soon! :D

I think on average it was 3-4 days after my waters broke sproggits arrived. apart from DD1 who arrived 19 hours later.

Huge big get well vibes for Elliot, and hugs to mummy and daddy Kindof. Little (big) man's already proven to be stubborn by cooking for so long, so he sounds like a fighter.

OH is quite interested in the whole perrineal massage thing (kinky sod), though I think even he may draw the line at actually inserting EPO capsules. Though I may be wrong, I suspect if I tell him it will make my bits better quicker he'll go out and buy the capsules himself!

Just working through posts as have been at a seminar all day, part of which involved a talk on female gential mutilation in which they showed a clip of a girl baby having 'bits' of her sliced off and she was crying her heart out, screaming mama - had me in tears :(

Well done to som, hope you get some sleep and hope Elliott is better soon xx

Is this normal? I have read apparenty I am in pain as my cervix is expanding but why don't I have a bump?? Sorry just am feeling abit concerned, my scan isnt until 30th and I am hoping everything is ok.
