I had period type pains and back ache till about 1am then stopped (I think) while I nodded off ,starting back up now nothing major

Has anybodies waters ever gone in the bath ? the reason I ask is when I got in bath on monday and wasn't too sure if just wet myself I noticed something in water ,it was like bits of tiny skin say if you had been sunburnt and it had peeled ,but it could also have been some toilet roll disolved from my DS who loves to mess in bath

I can't belive I have had a baby before ,I feel all anxious to if this is slow labour or just practise

Morning, I have pregnancy insomnia atm, keep waking at stupid hours of the morning and not being able to get back to sleep for hours. Usually by the time I am feeling tired it is time to get up:(

Taking the new car to get cam belt changed today after dropping older two at school, then off to mums n tots group:)

Nothing happening here, totally resigned to induction now though my dad always said he'd arrive on the 19th so I guess he might show his face tomorrow! Had some killer backache since yesterday but think that's more to do with the lack of activity, found myself with my bum on a chair far too often lately!!! OH's last day at work today so tomorrow we're off to check out holiday options, tres excited for that Gotta get up and out now - picking dad up from the garage after he drops his car in, last time he asked me to do this I totally forgot and he had to walk miles in the rain, I even dreamt about it last night I must still harbour guilt!!!

Huge congrats to Kindof, got everything crossed Elliot picks up and Weezl congratulations hun, although that is sneaky as your due date was only a week before mine and I'm sooooo not ready!!

Same to fishcake, although I'm sending you vibes now waters have gone, and extra ones for gym, bless ya. x

I'm 37 weeks today, homebirth pack is being dropped off later. Had a bit of a fright last night as lost some plug and a bit of blood, made me realise that it really could be anytime now and had a bit of a melt down. It would be fine except the bathroom refurb that was meant to take a week hit one prob after another and is still not finished 5 weeks later. This means the whole upstairs is a bomb site, the little back room we're making into the nursery was storing bits of bathroom and was being used by the various trades for their tools and things, therefore is still bare plaster and floorboards. This means we haven't been able to order baby furniture yet which means I haven't even started sorting through the baby stuff which is all piled round our room in bags and boxes along with everything out of the bathroom. Have been in the loft to find a holdall but haven't started packing a hospital bag yet, which you have to do even if planning a homebirth. Add to this poorly DD1 who is off school with a high temp and sicky bug (am being OCD about hand washing in the hope of not catching it!), DD2 still needing to be got to school and back, there being no food in the house and OH working overtime this week and yep I'm feeling a little out of control to say the least!! Also had a really uncomfy night and am knackered this morning. OMG rant, sorry guys!

Morning all,
Well today is the day!!! I have to phone at 12 but seeing as I'm already written down as a trouble maker I'll probally be straight in. People are moaning already about my lack of bloods. I'm just so inconvenient for everyone lol.
I have said that if a drip and blood test is my only choice then I will agree but not untill someone has had a peak and told me what all my options are. Midwife says that I need to hope I have done nothing but ripen my cervixs as then they can give me gels and sweeps and things which isn't as hardcore. They seem very medicine happy at my hospital and I know they have a terrible record for being scalpel happy to (sections). My midwife joked at our antinatal class that we shouldnt even visit people in hospital as a student surgeon might spot us and if they aren't busy might try and snag us lol.
Chances are once I'm in at this point I will not be back without a baby. I did ask if it had to be my baby when they said that and they laughed lol. OH has promised to update you guys if not EA is on my facebook and can see his updates there and keep you posted if shes feeling nice. Which she always is!!!!
