Kelinik - does sound like you're having a really stressful time. Try not to panic (if nothing else, I'm sure stress can bring on the baby! My first arrived the day after we bought our house and I'm sure that's not a coincidence...). Can you do an online order for groceries? It might be easier than trying to tackle the shops with an unwell little one in tow.

Well, I went for a hospital visit last night. It was ok, though didn't exactly fill me with confidence as apparently it was the first tour in 12 weeks as the hospital has been closed to all visitors due to the Nova virus being rampant! Although they've reopened now, they did mention that 3 wards are now closed again with it and so there is a risk that they may have to close the whole hospital to visitors again. If that happens apparently only my partner will be allowed in and they're anticipating that I'll be in for about 3 nights. I so hope they don't close, I don't know what I'll do - DD will never understand if she isn't allowed to visit me and the baby, she'll be really upset.

Mermaid - unfortunately not as the only other one nearby is a cottage hospital which won't take me as I'm having a planned c-section.

Sorry been awol for a few days!
I've been told i have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome - really tingly/sore fingers/hands/forearms! Midwife reckons it'll go once i've had the baby. Really annoying just now cos keep waking up for the loo etc at nght and now have dead arms to deal with at the same time!!!

Congratulations Som - the piccies are gorgeous, you look so happy! Well done.

Congrats Weezl and good luck fishcake. Love the rosy baby Som - so cute!

Well went to docs this morning as been feeling constantly dizzy for a week, got a last minute appointment and left preg notes at home. Saw doc and started having a go, like why haven't you got them etc - cue preggers lady in tears, had to come out of room to do a wee sample and saw DH who thought something was wrong with bubs, but got him to go home and get notes. Anyway after lots of checks she thinks its labyrinthitis, virus that makes me dizzy but as preggers and have to get train/bus to work she told me not to go in until better :jbring on daytime tv!! And to be fair she was really nice at the end asking to see her again in a week or so if not better to get a sick note
