On kindof fbRachael and Stuart would like to thankyou all for your well wishes. I am now in Sunderland with Elliot (although he is in special care along the hall) He is doing a lot better now, still having his oxygen monitored, but it's great being so close to him xxx
Got to go, baby is trying to eat my face :rotfl:

Morning!
EA - well done on the BFing in public!! It totally gets easier to do when you both are more comfortable with it - i BF'd my first two and have done it on trains, buses, benches in the park, you name it! Really looking forward to it again, its awesome for bonding with baby! Good luck with it!
1more? - Boo for the SPD - really hope the belt works - did they give you exercises too? I saw a physio a few months ago and as well as the option for the belt there were exercises to do daily to try to stabilise the pelvis. Hope it feels better soon.
Fishcake - hope you're getting mummy cuddles!
LMF - loved your birth story! Totally agree about midwives not listening to the mother tho - when I had dd I told her I need to push, she examined me and said no, not yet, within about 60seconds the head was out and she had no equipment or help or anything, the stupid girl! The picture is gorgeous, he's beautiful, hope everything's going well.
Jopsey - You're the only other person i've known who's had carpal tunnel! Was beginning to think I was just really cursed! lol Seems to have been one thing after another with this pregnancy and to get yet another 'side effect' with only a couple of weeks to go - nightmare!!!
WEll, I seem to be getting lots of BH, lots of tightening at the front and some intermittent lower back pain (which is where my labours started with dd and ds). I was convinced from early pg that i would have this baby early but the other two were bang on dates so i reckon i'll still be getting there on 2nd April! On the other hand, i'm thinking that with my cycle dates, my original due date was 28th March so perhaps bubs will be here by then! lol
DH is downloading movies for me to watch while i cant sleep/in pain etc so if i'm on the sofa for a few days of labour like the last two i'll have stuff to watch - What's everyone's favourite movies? I like chick flick types and criminal drama things - suggestions on a postcard please! lol
hope everyone has a good day
maybe it'll get a bit busier in here later, i'm gonna try and go out to the shops for a bit although the whole walking thing is soooo uncomfortable!

Morning (just about!) ladies
Thanks for the update on Kindof EA, so glad to hear that Elliot is doing better and that she is there with him now. It must have been torture for her to be at Ashington while he was at Sunderland.
It's a lovely day here in Manchester, just put my sheets in the wash so that I can get them dried on the line. Reminded me that I need to buy a mattress protector as well boooo....I hate sleeping on a mattress protector!
I have got some super yummy cereal - its chocolate crunch from Aldi and has bits of chocolate in....gorgeous! The only problem is it's very morish and I want another bowl now! Might just go and get a teeny bit more......
I'm having total chocolate cravings at the moment....making cornflake nests today only I ate the bag of eggs I bought to put in them lol!
Off to read LMF's birth story nowMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Hello all, last day of my annual leave had week off on my own as hubby saving his up til baby is born (statutory paternity pay is rubbish and would rather use annual leave), my annual leave runs april-march so had to use it up. I had planned to do some uni work (masters medical law module) but no motivation.
I have been sleeping really badly and in alot of back pain, had an injury almost 3yrs ago fell over at work and was taking very strong painkillers for first year but with some intensive physio was on paracetamol and mega painkillers when really bad - now for first 12wks pregnancy didnt want to take anything and have had to start taking paracetamol again but doesnt really do the job.
I am seeing midwife tues so am going to ask for a referral to physio and discuss option of a back/hip support as pain is across back and in hips.
any other suggestions??0 -

Hi Mo and morning to everyone else (just!) :j
As I am on docs orders not to go into work due to my constant dizziness am I too looking for stuff to watch as had enough (on day two) of daytime tv!! Have you tried demand five as they have good crim dramas you can download for free? (See mse related). In relation to this has anyone got any ideas of things for me to do as can't drive/walk out so stuck in doors 24/7 and can't do much housework as standing up for more than 5 mins make me dizzy (much to DHs disgust, don't think he understands I'm not just stuck at home to be lazy!)
Have a good day everyone xxThomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

Afternoon all
Just about to start decorating babies room...wooo! Can't say I'm motivated at all to do it but that's about how I feel all the time lately. Luckily some family are going to help me do the bulk of it in a couple of weeks but I want to get a few doors glossed.
Hope everyone is alright. Get well vibes to little Elliot and I hope your feeling better soon Sir Monster.0
