  • Thanks Fuzz, have been trying to keep up on FB but that's so good to hear that Elliot has been taken off the oxygen:j

Love and hugs to Kindof and OH x

Sir monster -too right you should NOT be doing housework if you're off work cos you keep getting dizzy:)

Good luck with the decorating Ymakes,I know how you feel re the lack of enthusiasm I seem to get all the beds made and housework done in the last half hour before picking kids up:o

Just back from 34 week MW appt, everything was really fab, wee ok, bp fine, took bloods, heartbeat really clear and regular. Baby girl was fighting back against the student who was feeling her position etc :D Bump is measuring nearly 36 and head is fully engaged already which I knew from scan at 32 w. For one of the first times I left feeling really positive and happy and am really excited about meeting the lil lady:j I think it helps that the soft markers cloud has been lifted and we can now look forward :j
    Busy mummy of 4.:j
  • Thanks Sir Monster - I'll have look at Demand 5, not sure there'll be much on that i've not seen tho!! I love my criminal minds/ncis/type stuff and i'm upto date with where they are in the USA just now. Maybe find something i've never seen! I know Warner had 'the Closer' for a while on demand but think its finished now. Will have a look tho. What about making thank you cards for when baby's here? I've been doing mine for the last few days. I've been cardmaking/scrapbooking for ages so have loads of stuff but you can get kits off eBay and QVC. Mine are purple and yellow with lots of glitter cos we dont know what we're having yet!

Ymake - enjoy the decorating! sounds like fun!

Freebie - sorry you're feeling rotten - hopefully physio will be able to help, there might be an element of spd in there if your hips are sore, perhaps the support belt might be useful. Hopefully they can do something for you, take care.

Gill - my washing just finished... i really cant be bothered hanging it out but you've put me to shame! Off to put it out now... As for your chocolate cravings... i just ate 6 tunnocks tea cakes!!! (biscuits with marshmallow and chocolate, a totally Scottish thing in case anyone wonders what i'm talking about!).

Hazzie - i got my buggy off Kiddiecare.com, forward facing tho but might be worth a look for a back one.

Confuzzled - thanks for the info re kindof!! Well done on the 'lurking' lol

Ok... off to deal with the washing!!

Hi all, sorry it's taken me so long to post. I'm at the same hospital as baby now, he is doing smashing and he no longer needs oxygen and is feeding every three hours and he's getting 60ml.

We are now trying to breast feed, we've had two shots so far, he knows what to do but we're not quite there yet.

As far as we can gather he is going to be discharged once feeding is established which we hope will be soon.

    love to all! x x x x

Brill news Kindof - glad he's on the mend.

I need some energy please! Supposed to be decorating the kitchen but just can't move off the settee - I'm 14 weeks now and was hoping to be feeling a bit more energetic. Think the shopping trip in town this morning with two kids as taken it out of me ;). Managed to get a back of two maternity bra's in the m&s sale for £9 though :T.

Kindof - good to hear from you and what lovely encouraging news. Been so worried about you and Elliot. You've got a real little fighter there. Look forward to seeing some pics of the little man and hope you get him home with you soon.
Good luck with the feeding, although it sounds as though you're halfway there.

Mo - I love Tunnocks teacakes - my family who live in Northumberland get them and I could quite easily eat 6 in one go! I've been quite good for lunch - a jacket potato with cheese followed by some grapes....thought I'd better give baby something nutricious before I start on the cornflake cakes lol

Great to hear the good news Kindof. Hopefully you will be all at home together real soon. ;)
  • Kindof - that's excellent news, keep going with the bf ing, its definately worth it, really helps with bonding too especially if you've been apart for a wee while since his birth. Hope you guys all get home together soon, x.

Gill - I'm quite proud of myself... it was a pack of 10 teacakes and i only ate 6!! Showing real self restraint there! lol

DH is making pork chops for dinner! i can smell them and the heartburn is there in anticipation! lol Just hope there's plenty milk for me. And he's going out tonight!! Might be my last nite in with me time before bubs is born - hopefully the other two will go to bed early!
