I'm going to get some fake tan stuff as my skin is very pale and as i have been ill i look kind of pastey at the moment but i think i will go for tights as well as its normally cold in portsmouth and i can never get fake tan right on my legs
I was looking for a more instant result than the johnsons stuff i have a big bottle of that which i use during the summer as i dont tan at all. I will go grab a bottle of than St rippoff stuff thats been mentioned this afternoon and get my DD to do my back for me tonight. I think some of you are on my facebook if you look at my pics you will see what i mean about me being really pale :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Hi everyone, first day today of DD being at home with me (she's been in full-time nursery since she was 11 months old - she's now 4, and I'm keeping her at home until she starts school in September apart from a couple of mornings a week so she can see her friends ) and it's going great!
I have to admit that I have been a bit nervous, as apart from the occasional inset day and holidays (and weekends obviously), I'm not exactly practiced at this - I had to go back to work full-time when she was 5 months old. But we're having a really lovely day - been to the park and the library (as well as the green grocers but that wasn't so fun!), and now we're attempting to cook a beef and onion pie! (Domesticated, I am not, but hopefully I deserve some points for trying?!)
Som - I hope everything's going well today and that you will soon be enjoying lots of mummy cuddles!
Kindof - good luck, hopefully won't be long now.
Gym - sending you lots of Labour vibes...Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Hi ladies,
Kindof I really feel for you - really hope things have progressed since you and OH last posted x
Well I've had an interesting weekend. Went to Ikea on Saturday, but was in quite a bit of discomfort, thought I had a urine infection, came home (2hrs journey) just after an hour of being there and rang the out of hours doc who asked to see me, she then sent me to labour ward. I was contracting every minute but not lasting very long, much much stronger than BH but didn't feel like labour contractions.
Have any of you guys had this happen? It's apparently an irritable uterus and can bring on prem labour. I'm 30 weeks and need to be cooked for a while longer really, otherwise I'll be shipped out to another hospital hours away. They did this magic test (although mortifying to have people you work with see your bits!) and it said it was 99% sure I wouldn't labour with the next two weeks. Phew - but blimmin nora it's unconfortable! Some of the contractions are much much stronger than others and quite literally take your breath away.
Apparently I have to drink tons of water, so I'm afloat, struggled trying to work and walk, now home for a couple of hours of peace before school pick up.
Exhausting this pregnancy business isn't it?!!!:(
Hugs to all those that need it, welcome to all the newbies, labour vibes to our due and over cooked ladies. Thinking of you allDS 17 yearsDD 16 years DS 5 years

Afternoon ladies,
Not been on here in a while, been busy with last min baby preperations. Anyhoo i've just had it confirmed that my bubs is breech - i'm 37wks tomoro - and i'm going in to hosptial tomoro to see if they can turn him. Anyone know if this is gonna be painful, i'm getting really nervous now. Midwife said it wasnt too bad but my friend (bit of a drama queen) said it was extreemely painful.
I've started thinking i should have opted for an elective c section but tbh i dont really want that either, i just want it over and done with now:(£387.39/£196.46

CAFC that's rubbish
I'm feeling crap at mo too, have been feeling really down anyway, and now have some bloke texting me claiming he slept me my oh before we were together, and that he went out with a girl he has always told me is a friend. I don't know what to bloody well believe now at all. We've only been together just over a year and I'm ridiculously insecure anyway, more so with being pg. He knows the one thing I can't handle is lies, he's lied about stupid things before and if he is now I really don't think I can stay with him. But I don't want to do this without him.0 -
