Kindof - is that because you will be on a drip? Do you have a tens? Thats my back up plan and a bath if I can lol.

Looks like we're KFC'ing for tea :D Step Dad gave us £40 for takeaway, but we can make that last at least 3 lol.

New rug is down and dog is most confused he keeps sniffin and scratching it, and he had a lil widdle on it earlier too...oops! I said to OH he is just marking it and he wont do it again as he got shouted at, but OH is paranoid. The dog has pee'd in this house ever so I cant imagine it being a problem.

    Hope everyone is well.

Good Luck Som for Monday. We can't have rugs down in our house which is such a pain, but one of our dogs has a thing for peeing on rugs. She is completely clean otherwise, but if theres a rug about she will widdle on it. So now we don't have any rugs. Funnily enough she doesn't wee on carpet though, it has to be a rug! hehe

Hope things kick off for you properly soon Kindof, I can imagine it gets tiring very quickly when you don't know if your coming or going.

Am going to spend the evening finishing off one of my crochet blankets and then tomorrow morning off to a carboot/market and looking forward to it. Hoping for lots of baby bargains :D:D

    hello all

well been to Ikea and toys r us, and the metro centre today.....
Was well knackered. Found the wardrobes we want and parents r gona buy them for us, but we couldnt fit them in the car, with the four of us, so gonna see about ordering them online.

Got baby some bits in ikea, like a gro-bag, some muslins and fitted sheets. And had total pregnant moment whilst sitting on one of the beds waiting for my parents when DH said to me "you look a bit tired, do you wanna get a drink" and all I could think to say was "i think I wanna go home" and then I just welled up, ad DH was half laughing half awwwing and hugging me... god only knows where it came from.... LOL

My mum bought me two pairs of maternity trousers as well in next and when we were at the counter, the cashier asked how long i had me how long i had to go, and when I said "June" she look horrified and told me I was huge LOL
Its just as well that Im not easily offended and think i look pretty big as well coz she could easily have peed someone off.....

Was so tired though afterwards, so now lounging on the sofa with puppy asleep on the cushion next to me....

ETA I bought DH a wii from toys r us as well, my parents had gone in to buy one for themselves, and DH was like I wanna wii, so ive bought him one as his anniversary and bday present...shouldnt have really as we dont really have any money LOL but he's happy...

Heehee, I think I've got a little biker baby! OH's been listening to bike noises online (sad, I know) as he's hoping to swap the one he's got for 2 of this other one, and bubs has been going mad everytime it hears bike noises. It's really funny.

CAFC, sorry your dog widdled on the rug. Like you say though, it's a new environment, and new rug, so it's probably all very strange to him. Hopefully it's a one off though, so you're not mopping up after baby and pup.

Kindof, that really sucks about not being allowed in the pool if you're induced. I hope you manage to go before it comes to that, so you get to go in the pool.

Som, you're not being unreasonable at all about not wanting to see people. You must be stressed by the whole overdue/ sweep/ induction/ actually having to give birth thing, without having to put on a happy face and socialise.

I dont know, she said I couldnt have it no matter how they start you off, so even if you have a pessary and it works I still cant have one :(

I dont have a tens but each room has a bath and that has been a god send today

Weve just had fish and chips for our tea god it was lush lol

CAFC you sound like you've had a fun day :)

Xmas I told them I took some paracetamol and it has helped and the bath has helped but I just had a MASSIVE one and it had me in tears and I cant have anymore paracetamol yet, so I am going to go in the bath in a min

Thanks Bexta, I hope I go first as well so I can use the pool
