OMG I have had the first nights sleep since Sept I think,I can't belive it:T
I am also glad I have postponed my annual mothers day lie in till next weekend as DS is still snoring his little head off ,I would have felt cheated as he has been getting up at the crack of dawn for weeks now .

hope some mothers day babys are born today xxx

Thanks for all the vibes No sign of him here, but I don't mind. Went to see ILs yesterday morning & they were amazed at how unbothered I was, I think if nobody asked/bothered me about it telling me how much they want him out, I'd happily go for a good while longer!! On that note, anyone know what happens if you refuse sweep/induction? I really believe he'll come when's right for him and don't want any intervention, so debating what to do on that note...esp with due dates being speculative, I figure he might have another couple of weeks or so left til he's 2 weeks late...I dunno, really not sure what to do...

Morning ladies, am feeling rubbish today! Really awful pains before I went to bed last night and thought sods law bubs will decide to turn up now! Obviously she hasnt but took me ages to get comfy after laying awake reading for best part of an hour! Under bump is so achey atm At 1.30 when Id only been asleep 40 min ish I woke with a startle to find OH crawling into bed, sofa apparently was too uncomfy and downstairs was too hot! At first I started to drift off but then he started to snore and I couldnt get back to sleep. I woke up constantly, the house was really warm oddly and I think our heating is playing up cos thermostat was set to 10 and yet heating was on and temp showed 22!!! So then I was too hot cos he's in bed so hauled my self down to the sofa. I did get some sleep but wasnt very comfy and woke loads. Thought it must be about 8/9 am when I woke but only just 7 anyhoo had enough and so have just been on comp pottering. To top it all off now have a headach and just had a huge nose bleed..Joy!!! I cant blame OH cos I have said the last few nights if your not happy on sofa come to bed so I cant moan. Just hope I get a reasonable sleep in the hospital tonight!

Kindof - I mean this in the nicest possible way, but....why are you still here? really thought bubs might have put in an appearance by now! Oooh maybe he'll hang out to Mon and our LO's can share birthdays hehe.

EA - yeay for first Mothersday card I know OH bought me one and a pressie but think he's gonna hold off giving them to me just yet, really never thought she'd be so late. Hope what ever issues you have sort them selves out soon.Am sure Ill fel exactly the same when LO arrives xxxxx

ymake - bummer about not being able to rugs, would die if I couldnt have one in our living room as our carpets are full of cigarette burns and theres an iron mark too! Not us tho previous tennets, even tho we have been here 5 years LLs refuse to replace carpets cos of H! Wouldnt mind but H is such a good boy and very clean, he doesnt come in the house muddy/dirty either. Yet next door who moved in last year have had to replace ther lino already as there spaniel chewed it all already!!! Oooh your lucky still waiting for carboots here to start up again.

CAFC - Yeay for new stuff, wowser the wii is a real big treat but its so fab Sorry it all got a bit much for you, but I think most of us have had momments like that.

Gym - they cant make you do anything you dont want so I think all they can do is monitor you and baby, usually every other day I think I rad somwhere. So pleased you enjoying bing PG and not stresssing, good for you. Wish I wasn't getting so many q's from peeps thats def the worse part or think Id be as laid back as you.

Will be going to Hospital via inlaws so wont be there too long and that way as its later in the day the rest of the family should have gone by then so not so stressful. I dont mind seeing MIL as she has been so good to us only seems fair to wish her happy M day Gonna pop to Tsco when OH gets up, get some more snacks and drinks as Im guessing Ill prob be in 2 nights now! Gonna be so nervous and weird when I leave hre later.

Well we had a bad & good night last night, baby refused to feed from me and was screaming and getting stressed, the maternity unit tried to give me tips but nothing worked. So by 1am i was in the kitchen making a small bottle of formula to get her to eat. She took it ok and went to sleep, had another one at about 6am. And then woke at 9am

And then BAM, my milk has come in. ( . )( . ) <-- My bbs (seriously!) lol. Damn, mse wont let me put more spaces in the 'boob' pic lol. I was trying to say they are huge!

Maternity unit rang me back and said what happened is normal cause as your milk comes in your nipples change slightly, which is why she was refusing me.
But she's fine now

Gave her her first bath this morning, her cord dropped off to. It smells! Have to call the matenity unit incase its infected as its all red and puffy looking to

Tip: When you get to your due date, start sleeping with some of baby's blnkets/ muslin squares. They will start to smell of you and babys find this a big comfort

Hopefully you'll be sorted now EA.. .. boobs will feel sightly less like mammoths on your chest in a couple of days.. If you are still very sore try squeezing a little milk once baby has finished feeding and rubbing it into the nipple.. it is meant to help.. Leaving yourself topless and loose helps too... though can get messy!

I had to remove all but a couple of my rings last night as my hands are really puffy.. I am just constantly boiling, not helped by this raging cold I am on to day 4 of! My poor snuffler is glowing and the aloe vera in th tissues my lovely OH bought for me has made my lips swell lol.. He wasn't to know, love him.


Then I might get out of bed!

I have an abundance of home made cards.. and a couple of shop ones from DS1

god im knackered....
slept from bout 12 till 8am, then up with dog, been out 4 mac d's brekkie, th walked back home and despite me telling DH i was knackered i had to take dog for his walk because dh wanted to watch te whole f1 programme.... so half an hour walk....

going out 4 lunch wit everyone but im so tired.......... need a shower as well, but got till half 1...
