DP, that sounds like such a great scan - what a cooperative babba you have!

Kindof, sorry for your OH being sucky, and hope your feet feel better for being elevated.

Moving house is something OH would love, even though our (rented) house is nice. Trouble is, we're about to make ourselves the most undesirable tenants ever - baby, pets, and a smoker (him). Most places around here would rather take DSS tenants over people in those categories, never mind that we're working people, who behave ourselves and pay rent and bills on time. Daft really, but there you go.

    Afternoon everyone.

Kitkat...bio oil is great result. I have been oiling my self up since i found out i was pregnant and am going through the stuff like crazy. Really need to join that site.

    xx

I think its a good result too :) bought some last week and seemed to have used loads applying it twice daily (when I remember.. ahem!) so i was abit put off spending £9 for another pot, but 6 of them for the £5 membership is good :D
This was just my 20-week scan (I am 20 tomorrow), it wasn't 4D or anything, I just was amazed at everything, like we saw the lens in its eye, its full tummy and bladder, the 4 chambers of the heart, etc. :)

how many weeks are you kitkat?

Wow, that was the normal scan you have at 20 weeks? I cannot wait for mine!! I am 18 weeks got my scan 30th March! I know on my 12 week scan I could see the heart chambers, which was pretty amazing but this one should be better! Glad it went well for you Dear Prudence! I will be the same as you and sticking to TEAM YELLOW! (mainly as OH says I have to!) :rotfl:

Well just been reading up on sweeps and feeling a bit more hopeful now :D Seems there more effective when your overdue at least a week and most seem to go in 48hrs if they do work. Im hoping with the few nigles that I have had I will have a favourable cervix and this will work soonish :D Probably getting my hopes up but lots of posters on various forums have said if you relax as much as poss during then there not even uncomfy, so thats what am hoping for.
    Hi
I had a sweep with my second LO, had it about 2pm and started with proper contractions about 9pm, i had heard that it didnt work for alot of people. Did the trick for me. Had her about 7 am in the morn. And it didnt really hurt at all, but then perhaps I may have gone into labour myself. Good luck with your sweep :0)

well had my dating scan today and I am 15+1 so my due date is 2nd september. Was shocked that had to put £3 in a machine before hand to get a card so could have a pic of scan.

radiographer was really lovely and as they were running very late and she said I was "one of them" she printed me 7 pics and said oh dear print button got stuck!! had to hide them in my bag so receptionist didnt see. She also did a really detailed scan for 15mins as my nephew has just been born with short limbs not picked up on scans and all was fine with ours.

    Afternoon ladies

Kindof sorry you've not popped yet. I know it feels like forever but at most you only have a few days to go :A

DearPru scan sounds ace! Can't wait fr my next one! I think I'm with you for team yellow too, hubby wants to know but I don't think I do. We might have to have a compromise where he finds out and I stick my fingers in my ears!

Had a mw appointment today and heard Munchkin's heart beating away :D Just love that sound :D:D:D Back at work for me today too (just in time for the weekend :p) and it was okay, the thought of it's always much worse than reality isn't it. Mw has put me on iron tablets so I might not feel like a human car crash for too much longer :T

Gymfiend that Weetwood house is ace, I love that area. Not sure about the Secondary schools up there though. Loved the decor too, orange kitchen cupboards anyone!:rotfl:
