:eek:Oh my god! I have just made the mistake of standing on the scales! I swear this baby has thing about junk food!

On the plus side 4 weeks today we will be mummy and daddy! Hubby has a week of next week when we are going to clean the house from top to bottom in preparation for baby, well I say we, it will be more like him and me sat down directing hubby.:rotfl: I did have a walk down to the shop today, haven't done that in awhile as I am soo tired, backache and get out of breath easily, I did however ring hubby to come and pick me up.

Am so jelous of anyone going to the cinema, dont know when Ill next get there :( but theres lots of films that I want to see!

CAFC - Ive had quite a few bloods done now, there are levels like Iron that may change through out your PG which is why they have to repeat them. Burnt burger Noooooooo!!!

    Hello ladies,

I hope you don't mind me popping in, I just wanted to share my good news! I've just had my 12 week scan and all was very well!!! I've had a nervous 2 months having had 2 miscarriages last year, so I'm so relieved and happy I don't know what to do with myself! The scan pushed me forward to 13 weeks 5 days with an EDD of 9th September. The scan pictures that we got were amazing.

    Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!:j:j:j:j
    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

OMG Gena that's fab news! Huge congrats - I remember both of your miscarriages and being so gutted for you. So pleased :)

ymakesmile - congrats on team pink.

Smartie - sorry your scan wasn't what you hoped for and eeek about the ovarian cyst. You must be so disappointed :(

SS - glad you're ok but I'm sorry about the way things have turned out. Well done for being so strong tho :)

Kindof - there's no way my OH would do a sweep for me lol. He'd be way to squeamish about touching babies head and worried about hurting him :)

CAFC girl - they did my bloods again at 28 weeks to check iron levels - think this is pretty standard.

Jolene - I'm going nowhere near any sets of scales until this baby is out lol

You lot have done a mega amount of talking today! Ah well I'm off tomorrow so can join in :)

I got an email off Bizziebaby asking if I'd received my Johnsons wipes so it looks like they were from them. Seems a bit strange that I'm testing both those and the lush massage bar at the same time tho.

    sorry about scan smartie (hugs)

well I got out of my blood test today lol mw gave me a card to go to the hospital and get them done - as they know me there and will sing to me and are very good in our blood clinic :) also decided too early for anti-d so going back for that in 2 weeks.

baby is very low though, head is well below my knickerline already!! I'm only 26 + 5 don't know what she's doing down there!!

am also sad for my baby bro today, he's always wanted a dog and when he moved in with gf couple of years ago gained hers, who basically became his. dog is only 4 and is being put down tomorrow as he has cancer in his stomach :( poor little man is heartbroken and asked to have my dog for a few days, but have said no as otherwise he'll be kind of losing 2 when he brings her back. feel guilty but that it's for the best
  • Evening,

CAFC - they seem to have taken bloods at most of the appointments i've had, they usually take a full blood count which checks amongst other things your haemoglobin levels - to see if you need iron supplements, these levels can change dramatically during pregnancy - also, platelets for clotting something they look at especially if c-section probable, and so that if these are low they know they need to think about controlling blood loss during labour/surgery.

Just gonna sit down to Jo now, lovin the new style show, lots of shouting to be done at the tv tonight no doubt with that and OBEM!!!:rotfl:

Should really get around to joining Bizziebaby, got the webaddress from here a few months ago but never got around to logging on - those of you who have joined, do you reckon its worth it? Is it normally just pregnancy/new baby type stuff? I do loads of surveys online at the moment for extra Christmas cash and tend to only do that kind of thing if the rewards outway any outlay! lol

have a good nite, gonna send my DH a link about membrane sweeps and see what he thinks! lol
