I have a HUGE ovarian cyst:eek: (which explains why I had a bump early on and maybe the bleeding!)

smartie , how big the cyst hun ? mine was 8cm x 8cm x 4cm , so was fairly large , they were going to leave it through the pregnancy but at 15 weeks pregnant i was in so much pain , that i went to a & e and within 2 hours was in theatre having it drained , the reason i was in so much pain was due to it had got stuck behind my uterus and bowels , and was causing so much pain , they could only drain the cyst as it was to difficult to get to ,and also had to cut me form belly button to bikini line to get to it , ( and now after given birth the scar is awful , as it took 6 weeks to heal ) , Thomas had a 70 / 30 % chance of surviving at this stage , but before going to theatre they told me that they had to think about my life now and not to worry about baby's, So i had no choice, he survived thank goodness
Also when they found my cyst at 12 week scan , they didnt know if it had been a long time , or just came with the pregnancy, and 99% of the time these cysts whether large or small will cause no problems during pregnancy , and may even disappear by the end of the pregnancy.

If you need any more info pm me
Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec

Esio - I lasted without the paracetamol till 1pm then took it, had about 3 hours sleep then have benn dozing on and off till about 9. I figured I might need as much sleep as I could get!

Kindof - hold those physcic thoughts for just a lil longer please :D

conventgirl - hope the heart burn stayed away.

BSM - yeay for NCT sale, hope you get some fab bargains, am still to get to one yet, but slowly building another list of things I need/want so may take my self off once bubs is here.

EA - I felt the pooh thing too and have had pain in the top of my right leg. Deff take some paracetamol, it helped me get a lil more comfy. Is Lily still active? Lil girl is really stretching here, I had a stupidly square shaped tummy at one point last night and she was really stretching me! Hope your on your way too hun xx

Well just seen kindof's post wow EA moved fast! Hope she is holding Lily soon x

Well am sat here reading and cramping and eating a large bowl of porridge with added golden syrup lol. Gonna take it easy today and rest while I can. Have found when the pain is worse, if I just breath a lil slower and deeper then its manageble. At this stage am thinking contractions are just practice ones, well hoping anyway this bubs has to stay but for at least another 14 hours 20 min!
