Guinea - sorry forgot to ask, what have you tried so far? Eviction wise?

I bought 2 pineapples when shopping last night, not sure what effect they'll have but I like them anyhoo so no loss :D

At the moment I have tried those RLT tablets which I bought when out with Mum the other day, bouncy ball, sex, spicy hot Mexican food, LOADS and LOADS of housework and hoovering, pineapple and long walks every day with OH and the dogs. Is there anything else I could possibly try as I REALLY don't want to have a stretch and sweep or be induced. :(

    Afternoon,

    Hope everyone's ok today?

Labour vibes to all those who'd like them :D

Kindof, any joy on the bra front? There were some in our Mothercare today reduced to £9 and on buy one get one half price, so would've been a bargain :T Think they were Emma Jayne ones, if that means anything to anyone, or if anyone in Leeds want some :D Did you enjoy your tea last night? What did you get? We went to a chinese place, but it's very authentic, and gorgeous, we love it, go at least a few times a month, saddos that we are :rotfl:

Bexta how lovely - isn't it great when the OH can feel? & I'm sure you don't look like you ate all the pies :p

CAFC hope the toothache has subsided?

Glad you had a good nights sleep Som :j I really fancy an iPod touch but my old video one still works fine so struggling to justify it :(

I have a car seat that lies flat when it's not in use - a M&P ProSleep, presumably it's fine to keep baby in this in his pushchair, on the basis that it lies flat??

Guinea try star jumps, I hear they help :j:j:j

    :jfor the playpen EA :D

Gill I've no idea, though the two you've linked to look the same to me? :o

Hope it's not thrush EA :( If you can't get into your docs soon, try looking at homeopathic options, I always found they worked a lot better than the over counter stuff when I had it.

Sonee - after all the car seat talk, I'll tell you what we have :) We have a Mamas & Papas pushchair, which is quite a light frame, it's this one and we have a Pro Sleep IP car seat that we can clip on, which lies flat. So I guess that fits the bill you're after, but quite expensive. I think the Quinny pushchair can have a car seat clipped to it too, but I guess it depends on how often and for what length of time baby would be in there as to whether it would be as suitable, as they don't lie flat?

The Loola Up is 1/2 price in Boots if anyone's interested :D Only £147.50.

Think that's me caught up but sorry if I've missed anything! Just had OHs parents & bro & sis over to view the nursery, and been out all day. Walked around town for a couple of hours - very uncomfortable! Had only gone to try and get these tens pads and nowhere even had them
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

Someone asked about the pramette, that's what I've bought, this one http://www.mamasandpapas.com/product-pliko-pramette-city-scape/185748804/type-i/.

I spent ages reading reviews online and it seems its a marmite pram (love it or hate it!!) but we went and had a play in store and liked it, although didn't get the matching car seat as I really dislike travel systems.

Our car seat is this one http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_762791_categoryId_165763_langId_-1?cm_vc=IOV4PDPZ1

Well I am back, I am totally wrecked, went to Matalan and got a 2 pack of nursing bra's for £10 the white one isnt as comfy as the black one which is weird lol

We also got 2 packs of fitted moses basket sheets which are fab, so I am all ready for beany eek.

I am a 40E which isnt that much bigger than I was pre-preg I dont think lol I think I was 36 D or DD before

Then went to Mothercare and I got a 2 pack of sleeping nursing bras they are really comfy, and I got another nursing bra at mothercare as well

We then went to tesco shopping, then to the tobey carvery for a carveyr which was lush but I am SO full and tired lol

    Morning :)

Well the pains completly stopped now, i dont even feel the dull ache anymore :(

I still need to get measured and buy my nursing bra's, i shall do it monday i think since im going into town to get my parcel from the PO.
Im going to get measured in mothercare then go to matalan to buy some bra's :D
Even though when i got measured for pregnancy bra's in mothercare they said i was a 40DD, pre pregnancy i was a 36DD, and throughout this whole pregnancy i've had to have the 40DD on the tightest hooks with the straps pulled tight to keep it fitting me :o

Its crap isnt it when the pains go away lol you get used to them being there that you think ohhh this must be it, but no lol

Gill - Sorry I cant help with the baby monitors, we have tomy ones that a friend gave to us

Som - I think our travel pen will be at MIL and FILs a lot cos they have so much stuff that babybean could hurt himself on, its insane how much, so they can use the travelcot as a playpen

EA - is it not just off eating too much pinepple? :o if not if you have got thrush I think you get tablets

OH wants me to get some of the relaxationcds on my mp3 player for when I am in labour

EA its scary isnt it how far up the top of the list we are!!!!

freebiequeenie - I am jeqalous that yo uare going to see Avatar, I wanted to see if but my butt wouldnt sit for that long lol

EA LOL I am sorry but I find that funny, although I know you wont be lol just a budgie making all that noise

I can reccomend ASDA own heartburn meds its nice, although LLoyds Pharmacy have the Gavicons reducd by £3 so its nearly the same price

Awww Guinea (((hugs))) I am the same as you, I REALLY dont want a sweep or to be induced, I cant think of anyting else you tried

Hey Gymfiend :) yes I got 3 nursing bra's and 2 sleeping nursing bras (sooo comfy) and last night I got Curried battered chicken with fried rice and chips, it was SO hot but it didnt make bubs come lol

I hope you enjoyed your chinese

OHHHHHH I was soooo excited we went to tesco shoppiung and we never go there but its next to mothercare and they sell monster much but just the BEEF the best ones ever!!!!!

    Hi All
Pleased to report that baby boy was born on 24 Feb at 11.19 - had to have a section in the end cause they couldn't break my waters which I was really upset about at the time but now I couldn't care less!! The only thing that got me was that they kept calling it an elective section which made me feel rubbish!!

8lb 15oz so much smaller than his big brother! Still no name yet but thinking Alistair or Jonathan!!

    xx
