fernlie - most seats these days are 0+ which means they are tested to 13kg same as the britax and totally agree babies sjould be left rear facing as long as they fit in that seat. Unfortunatley again its down to uneducated parents thinking that they need to turn the baby around ASAP! The actual requirment for forward facing is that a child must be able to sit un aided for around 20-30 min and be a min weight of 9kg, being 9months means nothing, its just the average age children hit these requirements.

Sonnee - did you have a budget in mind for this second pushchair, maybe consider something like a lightweight lie flat stroller, they vary from as little as about £60 thru to about £250! for the reasons we've been discussing here the chassis and car seat options aren't ideal, but if its a 3 wheeler you've seen its posssibly the Quinny Zapp.

EA - shame you cant set the cat on the budgie!

freebie - hope your enjoying Avatar :D

gill - I agree with hobo, think there the same monitor.

guinea - maybe walking up and down stairs might help, I've seen that recommend lots on TV for ladies being induced! THe rlt is more to help 2nd stage labour along and the uterus get back to shape after birth, not sure its actually any good for bringing it on!

CAFC, esio and Pigpen - poor you all having heart burn, I get it very mildly occasionaly and usually find extra strong mints or peppermint tea do the trick. But I know others have said either milk or yoghurts work too.

gym - looks like your the same as me with the ipod then. If your car seat lies flat for pushchair use then you'll be fine :D Oooh 1/2 price loola, I really like that and wanted MIL to buy it as a spare instead of the daft thing she bought which was more expensive!

kindof - goodpoint mil has a travel cot that she can use as a play pen. Very jelous of your carvery Mmmm :D

Pokey - big congrats hun, sorry it wasn't the way you wanted it, but hey he is here and well ((hugs))

Well went into town and spent the best part of 3 hours walking about the shops, deffinatley started something off but has calmed down now so think she was just teasing. OH has told her not to come tomorrow as he has a big footie match to watch, so thats a temptation if I ever heard one lol. Tried on bras in Matalan, but even there biggest size (F) didnt fit in the 2 pack. The lovely spotty one fit, but had no room to grow so decided to give it a miss as would be false econmy. Tesco home didnt have the nursing bras, but did spot Peacocks had 3 diff nursing bras at £5, 2 were a bit too lacey for me and the other they had very few sizes in but good bargain price if you can get them to fit. For me I think its gonna be back to mothercare.

OH is now cooking dinner as I'm really achey after all that walking, Gammon and eggs Mmmm :D

Nikkit....I'm pleased to hear that MK hospital is better when you're there rather than the reviews it's getting. Sounds like you had loads of people there for the birth...maybe they had a slow day?!! :rotfl::rotfl:
I am so embarrassed as I already have piles even before the birth!! What will they say?! :rotfl:

AH Ha! Maybe that explains it, day before yesterday I ran out of yoghurt..... been trying the cold milk but then it doesnt help with my tooth LOL woe is me...

Cant get in anywhere till monday for teeth, but im so tired im past caring, so just brushing my teeth gently in a mo, gonna sort out a drink and a dvd, then use some cordosyl, and just lounge in bed I think....

At what point is it recommended you get your nursing bras then? My boobs have defo grown but I dont think I was in the right size bra in the first place, and in the past year theyve gone from fitting in the cup of my hand, to now being two handfuls LOL

Hope everyone has a great evening, sorry Ive been rubbish today, hopefully tomorrow will be a better day xx

Vibes to all who need/want them and Congrats to Pokey xx

Congratulations on the bubs Pokey, pity it's not what you wanted but at least the end result was worth it! My dread is having students present though, because one of Martin's neices is doing midwifery, and that would just be too weird for me.

Not much happening here, although I am noticing a pattern with bubs movements. It's quite active first thing, goes quiet during the day, and then picks up more or less exactly at 5pm.

CAFC - Ideally you get measured at 38 weeks, but if your being induced or sectioned earlier then the rule of thumb is 2 weeks before. Your Boobs can change size frequently thru out PG tho, so maybe worth getting measured again soon if you feel yours dont fit. Ive had 2 sets of mat bras thru my pg.
