Hi Gill, Ikea has some lovely furniture that would 'grow' with bubs. We like the look of the Leksvik range, which I think Kindof actually has, if I remember rightly. It looks as though it's a fairly solid, classic range (cheap too, bonus!)
On a totally different note, I have my 20 week scan tomorrow morning! I'm so glad it's early, because the 12 week was at half 3, and I drove myself nuts waiting for it! I'm still unsure whether I want bubs to give us a flash or not, guess we'll find out (or not) tomorrow. So excited though.

Any reccommendations on where to look for nursery furniture?
we used Glasgow Pram Centre (they deliver) and got a good deal on a room set - ~£240 for a room set (cot bed, dresser, wardrobe, mattress). Not sure what their deals are like just now but I've no complaints at all about the service we got from them.
Other than that, I've seen a few reasonably priced bits at Ikea0 -
Hi everyone, hope you've all had a great day!
Hobo - congrats on your twin news! Good luck with the BF!!
Pigpen - thanks for some excellent advice re stuff for bubs - I totally agree with the baby towel thing! lol
Massive Labour vibes to all you guys waiting patiently for new arrivals! hope things get moving for you all!!
My cold is getting a bit better but the cough is a nightmare, really starting to hurt my stomach muscles even with a pillow held in front! That and my pelvic floor weakening by the minute!
Hoping to get a pile of cleaning done this week, getting my vax back from dh's cousin so hopefully get the carpets freshened up before sicking/peeing/pooping baby arrives! lol Gonna have to get back onto Flylady and get some routines in place before number 3! Got the laundry under control - i think! Just everything else that i lose track of Argh!
Have a great Monday everyone,

Love the convo on clothes etc, havent actually bought that much which is just as well cos we have been given shed loads! Have some of the hodded towels so will be intresting to see how I get on with them. We were also given a bath otherwise wasnt gonna bother. Well still feeling a bit icky! think it could be indegestion or heart burn, dont really suffer with either so really not sure. Anyhoo after being up since 4.30 am I think it must be bed time now, night all xBaby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Hi Hobo
Wow twins congratulations, I know my hospital still give you milk but they are stopping it in the next few months:( but they should should offer you extra time and help with the bf as you have twins.
There was a couple in my brestfeeding work shop and the mw said there was extra help availble for ladies with twins. Its worth asking your MW.

Morning ladies,
thanks Som, gonna need it!
Bexta - best wishes re scan today!
Can anyone help? My two kids got a new set of bunk beds last week, solid pine, so no more nights of squeeking metal if they so much as roll over in the bed! Peaceful nights sleep being had by all. Only one problem - dd who is 4yo, has wet her bed during the nite twice now - only thing i can think is that she's so comfortable in the new bed and just sleeping right through it, not realising till she's wet and cold! As you can imagine i'm not thrilled with this as they are new mattresses too! Does anyone know where i can get a plastic sheet type thing for over it? I know I can get one in Argos but they're a penny off £10! I'm sure I saw them cheaper than that somewhere recently and cannot for the life of me think where?! Any ideas ladies?
thanks in advance,
hope all have a great Monday
labour vibes to all those needing!

Hi to all the newbies.
I spent the whole of yesterday with really uncomfortable shooting type pains right up inside my 'lady parts'! Google seems to think its my cervix starting to flatten out and dilate, erm only 33+4 so I hope not LOL!!! Never had it with either of my other two but then neither of them engaged at all until labour where as this one is pressing right down already as confirmed by last weeks scan.
Hubby is like, 'stay put baby, we haven't chosen a name for you yet', like that'd be my biggest worry LOL!:heart2: Mumma to DD 13yrs, DD 11yrs & DS 3 yrs. :heart2:0 -
Any reccommendations on where to look for nursery furniture? Think we're going to want a wardrobe and chest of drawers, both in pine. Ikea have some that may be suitable but would like something to compare them with.
Lots of labour vibes for those who need to them (waaaay too many to list atm lol) but especially for nikkit
Im not too much use lol cos my nursery furniture is from Ikea lol its the Leksvik range, we have thge wardrobe, the chest of drawers, the treasure chest and the cot bed, then once he is too big for cot bed they do a childs extendible bed
Oh yup Bexta remembers right lolwhat time is your scan???/ Good Luck
I hope your cold gets better maureen
