  • I know i've been MIA lately but finding in hard to keep on top of things and this thread moves so fast.

Sugar & CSH - I totally get where you are coming from with your OH's. I'm having the exact same problem, things were running like clockwork in this house before he finished work, he's been home 3 days and I'm already at the point where I might kill him ;) I'm an early riser but he would stay in bed until 11 if he was aloud, I've reminded him he is not on holiday and he's to be up at 8am at the latest but he then comes downstairs about 8.30 and wants to chat / have coffee for an hour even though we have a do to list as long as our arm and I'm trying to deal with all the probate and get a business of the ground for him to run, never mind the fact that I've been up since 6am  anyway, rant over!

    Weezl - HUGS

Sami - HUGS as well :D i'm running on empty all the time lately and could cry at the drop of the hat (like it did in bed at 5am this morning) whilst DH is pretending to be asleep!

As for us, I'm after some advice, my DD spent the night at nannies on the weekend and slept from 11pm until 8am (she's never slept through before) so I thought (silly me) that this was the turning point, so why is it in our house she's back to her regular pattern of waking at 3 / 4am demanding to be fed. I've gone through everything I can think of with my mum and I can spot any differences, feeding times / amounts were the same, same crib, !!!!!! it was even around the same temp so any ideas?????

Right back to start on summarising the one account for probate - F'ing council think they're entitled to all the money in the account as he was receiving care even though his care costs were 60% more than they were putting in!!!
You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same

Hi, only thing i can think of is, do you wait until she proper cries before you feed her at 3am or do you get her at the 1st sign of stirring? Its possible that your Mum(? nannie) didn't wake as quick as you do and DD has just gone back over?
Kieren sometimes whimpers at about 3am as he used to get feed then, but I either ignore him or stick the dummy in as hes not fully awake. However if I fed him he'd take it half sleeping, but hes not needing it IYKWIM

Tia, sorry, my answer was a bit garbled earlier, Rhys was distracting me. I meant I don't think I can get CA whilst on ML because it's £95 a week of less and mat pay is £123.05.

My mum doesn't do paid work at all - just voluntary work and fills the rest of her time running around after old rellies and the builders! - but she'll only have Rhys max 25hrs a week as I'm going back on between 18.75 and 22.5hrs (and even if I'm on 18.75hrs it'll still be over £95 a week so I won't be able to get it when working either).

Are his daytime nap place and night time sleeping place the same? Sounds like he doesn't know theres a difference between night and day

My DD was a horror and never slept all night til she was 2.5 yrs!!! Boys are easier in this house lol

  • CSH - Yeap my mum :D No I've tried ignoring her and she doesn't cry she just starts shouting and shouting  I've tried the dummy but she keeps on spitting it out. I'm not sure if she's hungry or not, sometimes she only takes about 3oz and then other times she drains a 6oz bottle there's just no logic IYKWIM?
