Oh dear, DD has asked me about her having it as she's pregnant, I said I had no idea as it was for her and her OH to decide.
Too many children, too little time!!!

    morning all!

havent caught up yet, going back to do that after i've posted this, but ebay question...

i've listed the jumperoo as pick up only but have had a large box donated so want to change it so i can get more :money:, plus the currently winning bidder has no feedback so i'm not very happy about it!! i cant find a way to add postage on, so shall i cancel it and relist it with postage? i'm thinking i'll get more plus i'll save having to wait in for a weirdo to come and get it, its at £26 at the moment with 10 hours to go but has 31 watchers?

Emlou would you consider an out of ebay purchase? I'm not getting any response from the one I was goona buy and obviously I would pay postage!

No I've not heard of that, but will investigate. If you have any links I'd appreciate them. I know about the neti-pot but I think I would heave if I used that :o I'm just fed up with the pain and hate having to take painkillers all the time, and my sense of smell has been affected so food tastes bland.

I don't like dogs that jump up either. It's not hard to train them to ignore other people and it's just laziness on the owners part if they let them jump up at people. When we are out with Bob, he just wanders pasts and ignores everyone apart from people who know him and encourage him to go over for a stroke. Will have to do it all again in a few weeks when Jack is allowed out.

was a midwife who showed me how when pregnant with DS1 and had a really bad cold in hospital. Works everytime for me. Does take practice and time to perfect.

aww hope the littlies are ok with the jab, are they 'happy' to give it to Dylan after that rash?

He did put Chris back to bed once and held Ed for a bit (like 2 mins) then shoved him back at me  because he's got to work tomorrow  I pointed out he'd already had 5hrs sleep un like me and I can't just sleep all day and leave Chris to his own devices!

    Morning Ladies.
There was some info about swine flu posted to a yahoo group I subscribe to and thought I'd pass it on in case it's of use to any of you are unsure about whether to get the jab or not...
Swine flu is supposed to be specifically more dangerous for pregnant women, and young people in general, and there is more of it around too. The Dept of Health's circular to GPs is quite well referenced and you can find it here:
    http://www.dh. gov.uk/prod_ consum_dh/ groups/dh_ digitalassets/ documents/ digitalasset/ dh_107825. pdf

Some other sources: the RCOG statement published in The Lancet claimed that:
"Findings show that pregnant women are four times more likely to be hospitalised when they have H1N1v flu when compared to the general population."

    http://www.rcog. org.uk/what- we-do/campaignin g-and-opinions/ statement/ rcog-statement- article-% E2%80%98% E2%80%99- h1n1-2009- influenza- virus-in

And this page might be useful - NHS list of documents regarding swine flu and pregnancy, including on antivirals and immunisations:
    http://www.dh. gov.uk/en/ Publichealth/ Flu/Swineflu/ InformationandGu idance/Pregnancy /index.htm

There has also been anothe link posted since that may be scary http://articles. mercola.com/ sites/articles/ archive/2009/ 11/28/Shocking- Swine-Flu- Vaccine-Miscarri age-Stories. aspx
