TBH I've just not got the energy to fight, I'll just go home, I have had no sleep for so long I need a proper bed, not my mums living room floor :(
When I wrote to my MP, the problem magically resolved itself after me writing just one letter to her. She did all the work for me.

reading back over peeps posts bout having another baby. we've already had the chat. at the moment, we are waiting the year they advised at the hospital to allow c/s to fully heal. which will take us to sept '10 will prob wait till new year and try then. so there maybe quite a few of us joing the pg thread again in 2011. dont want to leave it too late with my BP problem and age....
My OH was trying to discuss future children when Alice was two days old!
Exactly! I bought a cold compress thing from the 99p shop, it's got disney princesses on it and you keep it in the freezer until it's ready for use... And some Arnica cream that I bought when Aimee was toddling then completely forgot about... Wonder if it's any good now...
We use arnica too. Alice now requests arnica and Mr Bump (one of those gel filled things) to make her better.

Apparently not, according to the registrar who delivered Rhys. It's a 1 in 2500 chance every time. That said, I have weezl on standby to do more research for me when the time comes ;)

Having another one depends on how Rhys is.. He may develop more kidney problems as he gets bigger so we'll see. We never really talked about how many to have, but I don't think we want to stop at one if we get the chance :) May need to factor in a house move too.
I read a bit about it a while ago and found out that having it previoulsy is not a risk factor but I would expect them to check for it anyway with anyone who has had it before from a reassurance point of view especially as it is so easy to check for.

Susan, (or anyone else who may know) The Asda glasses you were talking about the other day, 2 pairs for £90. Do you know off hand if its a condition of the offer that I need to have an eye test at Asda or can I just take my prescription along?
    Thanks
I don't know anything about Asda but I was talking (with EmLoun and possibly Sami?) about specsavers. I have in the past had an eye test in one specsavers and gone to a different one for the glasses without any problem and I wouldn't have thought an optician would restrict an offer like that because surely it would lose them business.

Stick sultanas in it... fruit, see? ;):p

There's also Domperidone but that's an actual medication and needs a GP to prescribe and they don't always agree (or is pricey OTC!)..
