Hey all,

I'm really unhappy at the moment, I finally got back in to see the docs today and have now got daktarin gel for Austins mouth and Daktarin cream for my nips as it looks like it might be thrush that we have, I'm not sure how much more i can take, he pulls and pulls and pulls at me during a feed, he screams right the way through it and I just can't see an end in sight anymore. My supply seems to be dropping off as well, i think it's because his "fight feeding" is getting him much less milk than he needs, last night in despair,tears and exhaustion i got OH to give him a bottle of expressed milk before bed so that he could have one decent feed in a day, he took 6oz and went right back to sleeping through the night. I tried to express to balance the EBM feed and only got 3 oz in 40mins of pumping both sideswhen i could easily get that in 10mins before from one side????

Krystal, you're the breastfeeding guru? what do i do, i've tried feeding him more often to increase my supply but it's not making any difference, why aren't my boobs getting it???? Feeding him more just seems to make more of a day a misery of him screaming and pulling....

I'm so so so unhappy....why can't i do this?

I think I'm the only one with her number (maybe tia has it too??) she was txting me but has stopped and I don't want to pester her but I don't want her to think I don't care/have forgotten about her :undecided

Oh sweetie!! *huge hugs* You can and you are doing it.. you just need a little help and a break. You've done so well already! Krystal will be along soon.. In the meantime, for supply issues, are you finding the time to eat properly? Oats are supposed to help.. Maybe stock up on flapjack? You could try Fenugreek too (herbal thing from Holland and Barratt, £8ish, take it until you smell of curry ).

I've spoke to Feelie she is ok.

i'm sure feelie is ok, the last we heard from her she was staying at her mums and wasnt due to go home any time soon, so hopefully she stayed there and is in good hands it would be nice to know for sure though...
