rmac - thank you and no rush :)

I was gonna suggest the hamster car too Elle I'm not 100% sure they still make them but haven't got time to google right now (I think they're called hamster dragsters though)

Beccles aren't parents petty sometimes! My mum almost didn't buy Chris a bike for Christmas because Gt Granddad is getting him a trike but once I pointed out he'll be opening her presents first suddenl she got all excited about it again

Big news here - Edgar is now having a dummie - good news for my boobies when he's fussy :)

Oh another question - do cuddly toys go in the washing machine? Tootsy doggie is all covered in breakfast!
I put Alice's in on the shortest cycle with the slow spin.

I don't take my ring off but if it was going to go that far up my arms, I would take my watch off. (Although more because I wouldn't want to get food all over my watch.)

i always take my ring off cos i dont want bits in it, but i also dont think its very hygenic cos it touches everything i touch, but then i am a bit of a freak when it comes to germs sometimes!

xmas decs in my house always go up on the 10th, cos my birthday is the 9th. i get a little irate about people thinking its xmas before my birthdays gone :rotfl:
You share a birthday with my Hubby :D

Our decs go up on the 12th/13th... Hubby's Mum used to put the decs up on his birthday as a child and he wants to be as far removed from anything to do with her so we leave it till a few days later lol... up 12 days before... down 12 days later....

My mum was partly always so busy in our house that we wouldn't put the up til Christmas Eve but would then stay up until my brothers birthday on 6th January !!! Later on I used to do it when I came back from the pub after a few beers!!

Forgot to say that when we went to the hospital to see the consultant the other day my mum was a nightmare and kept making things up... according to her my labour was ages/days erm went in at 10am Sat had LO at 6 next morning after being induced at 3pm in the afternoon... they broke a needle in my arm..no they lost one during CS and couldnt find it afterwards!

MIL is coming to visit next week.... I think OH's subtle digs may have worked... only wish she had decided a couple of weeks ago and we could have got her cheap tickets instead of her paying £90 but then serves her right for not coming down more often.... actually I do get on with her just annoys me when she frustrates OH...
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

we did buy them last year but the tree was a bit rubbish and the decs came from poundland and all fell apart when we took them off the tree, so we just binned them and decided we'd get new ones this year. didnt really anticipate being skint though :o hoping that getting ones from the range they will be a better quality!

though i must say i always find the phrase "shatterproof baubles" a bit of a challenge
