Just remembered that I hadn't done the Father Xmas letters, so done now. I can highly recommend these...http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Personalised-Father-Christmas-Santa-letter-FREE-GIFTS_W0QQitemZ120489249779QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Home_Garden_Celebrations_Occasions_ET?hash=item1c0db80bf3 third year in a row I've used them. They even send reindeer food, they're fantastic for the money.

Buttons is still waiting for a cable for her laptop... And Elle has a chest infection so Scruffy's probably a bit busy with her...

I have a very grumpy baby... Probably she's tired since she had me up every 2 hours last night... Again!

Maddy woke as soon as she went down last night but it was cold as OH had the door open for a bit. I put her in with me and she watched as OH walked around the room for about 5mins then as he switched the light off she just closed her eyes and went to sleep. Stayed that way until 6.30am.

xmas decs in my house always go up on the 10th, cos my birthday is the 9th. i get a little irate about people thinking its xmas before my birthdays gone :rotfl:
decs go up in our house after the 3rd as that is my sis birthday, so no christmas stuff allowed before then, and even though I havent lived with her for 9 years, I still stick to it !!

Same here - I will have no mention of Christmas or cards on display until after my birthday on 3rd.

Those letters look sweet Tara. I got similar a couple of years ago - when Liv still believed. It mentioned Mrs Lester (school head) had told him how good she'd been in school! :rotfl:Liv was amazed that Mrs Lester knew Santa!, even more when Mrs Lester confirmed it when she asked her. :rotfl:
I wish she still believed!

Erin said last week that she know's it's me not Father Xmas. But she'll get a letter so that Ben thinks nothing of it. Was great as I just got an email from the lady that does the letters congratulating me on Maddy and saying she hopes Ben and Erin are well. She remembered us from before!

Where did everyone go? No point you going over to FB MM, I've already beaten you!!!

  • oooohhhh I'm getting that letter this year !! I used to get one from Australia, my aunt sent them to Jas every year, but she moved to London last year and didnt send one and Jas was really upset :( I told her it might have got lost in the post and just about got one in time to leave ontop of her sack for christmas morning !!

Think this might be my last year for Jas, she has started to ask already.... and my 2 10 year old nephews cant keep their mouths shut !! but at least I will get it for another few years with Dylan :)

Thanks everyone for the suggestions - they are much appreciated. Was worrying all night and just had to get it out this morning.

    Panic is over!!!

Spoke to my Mam this morning and explained again why we want to do ours first and see the magical expressions and all that, and why I can't put them up earlier. I've got some work booked on Thurs 17th but should be able to collect Charlotte from her by 11am so she'll have the rest of that day to do hers. I've got no work booked yet for Fri 18th or Mon 21st, so I can keep either day free and keep Charlotte at home or there's the weekend in between.

I said if she brings Charlotte back here on the lunchtime before she goes to work, she'll see the magical expressions and all that too.

She's agreed not to put hers up now before the 16th, so I can go ahead and do everything as planned.

Feel so much better now it's been worked out :)

Thanks again everyone - you're all fab xx
Here I go again on my own....

Santa phoned me when I was little ;)
Back from the doc's and added confusion over the pig flu jab
Chris wanted the loo while we were there *shudder* is it wrong that I want to bathe him in anti-bac now? :o
GP said no signs of hip problem but agreed to 'keep an eye on it' so if it's still clicking we can go back and she'll refer for a scan to make sure
