I don't think I can get mine up any earlier than my Mam as I've got loads of work on and an essay due on the 13th that I haven't even started yet.
Really cheesed off as my Mam knew I wanted mine up first so I get to see the excitement on Charlottes face. I know it's trivial and I'm probably over-reacting, but it's something I've looked forward to for so long and she's going to spoil it again.
I wish I could afford to give up work and be a SAHM, then I could do what I want with my daughter and wouldn't have to put up with her messing with things.
Ideas I can think of are:
- Would it be possible for the boys to put the decorations up on an evening after Charlotte's gone to bed?
- Would it be possible for the boys to occupy Charlotte on a Saturday so you could decorate?
- If you felt comfortable with it (but I would understand if you didn't), I would be happy to look after Charlotte for an afternoon so you could put them up.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Oh, I keep meaning to tell you guys we have a new favourite bf position - she stands up while feeding, so her bum is in the air. And she doesn't stand still either, so there is a wiggling bum quivering in the air while she drinks. I think we are getting very close to there being FAR to much else to do during the day to bother with BF... but we wer not quite there yet.

 I just typed a huge reply - and the laptop decided to shut itself down!
MFD  MIL's! Hope you have a lovely night away/evening. Hope the hangover isn't too bad. Can we have pics of you looking glam in your dress?
My MIL called yesterday to ask how LO was. I said she'd not been sick again, but hadn't eaten/drank anything other than water.
She said 'giver her some wotsits, WE know she likes them!' Do WE?And if she was still ill, is cheesy wotsit sick not the worst thing to be cleaning up?
Bec Is it possible for you and the boys to do the decorations after she's gone to bed one night - then you can see the magical face in the morning?
And Mothers - mine is one of those that thinks I should have OH's dinner ready when he gets in from work - even when I was also working full time!
When OH is on a late shift - I eat with the children early on. If its something he likes, i'll save him some, if not, he's big enough to sort himself out. Mum thinks this is shocking and I should make him something when he comes home! Yer, right!
" oh lovely jaydens looking at me while doing a poo, best clean it x "
Searchie I read that as jayden was looking at you while you were doing a poo! Then had visions of you sitting on the loo, with lap top, speaking to us! Have a lovely day out.
Rmac Have a lovely time at the parents. We'll miss you.
I thought LO was better last night - she had a bottle and kept it down and went to bed and slept through til 8am.
She had a bottle this morning - and brought it straight back up all over my freshly showered legs!:beer:0 -
Rmac, yes definitely wash cuddlies in the washing machine... Aimee's go through regularly... Then they get a lovely tumble dry
Looks like Argos internet monkeys also work in the package and posting department too... I got half of my order today...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

3, she's probably still a little delicate... I'd stick with plain biscuits and lightly buttered / jammed toast again today...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Morning all
Better night here, asleep on Daddy until 1.30am (Daddy has a new computer game keeping him occupied until then ), bottle then straight to bed and asleep, and woke up at 9.45am
I slept all that time too, which was nice.
No plans for today yet. Need to go to the docs to collect a prescription, want to see my Grandparents (though they could come here), need to go into town and to supermarket but might do those once Daddy's back home tonight.. Odd but nice that we don't have to consider a nurses' visit on Thursdays anymore0
