Carla, Rhys is getting shape sorter, crawl ball, books, activity cube, crawl/walk mat, hand puppets and a height chart for his room (not all from us!). If we're all extra lucky, I'll have gotten around to doing his room by then too!0

Thanks MM and Elle. Thats what a lot of people have been suggesting, but we have a highchair already (one that Katie is currently using -- but i plan to get her a chair that attaches to the dining room table IYKWIM?)
we have abvout 3 playgyms, 2 travelcots, a Bumbo (perhaps a tray for it could work its way onto his list!!)
Mmm.....just in thinking, he would need a walker. Katies was bright pink! Could be an idea!??Carla-Farla!!

Getting the tray for the Bumbo was a big hit for Rhys. At the time, he wasn't very into holding or touching things, so he got a bit bored in the Bumbo. Once we go the tray and a highchair toy (with suction base) for it, he'd stay in there for ages
He's well into touching things now. Oh, he's got more highchair toys for Christmas too (for his Bumbo, the highchair here and the highchair at mums).
We've just bought the highchair and a new pushchair, not having either of them as presents especially, but not getting him anything else for Christmas either. There's nothing else he needs now... Can't think of anything we'll need for years now :cool:0 -

I am a huge massive reader. Less than I used to be when single and unparently, but still. I walk past our local library to and from work, I read 2-3 books a week minimum still, a lot of them on my commute or in the bath
I got rid of hundreds of books when we moved house, but I still have 500+ in the house. Very eclectic tastes nowadays but I started on fantasy/sci-fi.
Income at around £60k - I think originally OH's non-UK citizen denied her some benefits but nowadays as SAHM I don't think it's making a difference to anything. It doesn't feel like a lot in Inner London...
Enjoy your TC meet ladiesphotos please!
We are off to Bruges this morning for 4 days, OH is taking laptop to write on so I might pop on at some point. Poor Elijah's cold is still rampant, he has a miserable coughwill have to keep him wrapped up warm!

I love reading and used to read loads. However what with work, uni and looking after the children, I never seem to get the time to read much now. It's usually just a quick 10-15 minutes before we put the light out at bedtime.
I enjoyed our holiday this year as our balcony was in the sun, so when Charlotte was napping in bed, I used to sit in the sun and read :cool:Here I go again on my own....0 -
Do you think this would be any good for clothes? I need storage for ths kids room, but regular chest of drawers just won't do. I need tall things to take up less floor space.
We have the smaller one and it's very convenient
Enjoy yourself Bruno!
Everyone else, I recommend you read The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly. It's a twisted fairytale sort of thing.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I have started reading a book whilst Jack has his morning playtime. Normally after his morning bottle he's really content and will happily lie on his mat so I sit down and relax for 30mins.
right, off for a shower. Just remembered I wanted to pick up a Tommee Tippee Flask/Bottle Warmer thing - am fed up of going out and places refusing to warm bottles using hot water due to health & safety
Just checked prices and seem same everywhere - Toys R Us opens at 9am so will nip there, get Jack weighed, nip to ASDA, pop home to fill flask ready for later and then leave!
See you laterA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
