Afternoon all.
Congratulations GSI
Re christmas trees, we've decided to go without this year - Izzy is into everything, and would pull it down on top of herself, so really not safe unless we hung it upside down from the ceiling or something!
Anyway, must get myself something to eat - I just realised I missed out lunch - wondered why I was so hungry!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009
New challenge for 2011 - saving up vouchers to pay for Chistmas!Amazon £48.61 Luncheon Vouchers £240 -

OH thought he'd woken up in the wrong house but he hasn't seen the state of Rhys' room yet
We need a new house - four bedrooms, one for us, one for Rhys, one for a computer room and one as a junk room!
This is exactly what we need! It is a distant dream though.
And Tigs, we had the computer room and the baby room one and the same for a while, but as he got more wild and mobile it's no longer an option!
Pork steaks - yes, just grill or even fry, make sure they're well cooked through (like chicken not like beef if you know what I mean), and whatever seasoning you fancy, they take well to being spiced right up, but could do mustard-y, or a rosemary-and-garlic, or something. They can be a bit bland if not really fresh good quality, unless you do some sort of marinade or seasoning.
Have them with assorted veg, or mash, or even rice and stir-fry...0 -
Wish we could have a small tree - but nothing less than a 6ft will do for Marley! I think I'm going to have to relocate a few things to the corner of the bedroom to make room, and the buggy will have to live in the boot of the car whilst the tree is here.
The computer was meant to be relocated in our bedroom but has never made it, and probably won't until Andrew is mobile. By then we hope to have a second laptop, and the main PC will only be used for its storage space; it can live packed up and just worked from the laptop as a remote desktop.
We have beef steaks marinaded in JD for tea tonight .........:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Bargains from our local Sunday market - a huge bag of JD steaks for £10 :T
Opinion time ladies. Andrew is currently 14wks old (3wks corrected) and 5lb. I know I don't have to think about this yet, but at what point should he stop sleeping in his moses basket and be moved into the cot? I'm guessing that it'll have more to do with his activity level rather than his size, but I want to keep him in the basket as long as possible because the cot is huge compared to him.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Just been diligently reading the top 100 posters' MSE list - interesting that of all our hardcore regulars, the only parenting names that appear in the overall top 100 are savvy sue (who ironically stopped posting here because she didn't have time
), Astons Mummy, and skintchick!

they are meant to be able to stay in a basket till they can sit themselves up, but i'm like glam, he moves so much at times the whole basket wobblesso he's in his cot from tomorrow.

Whinging from the hospital and requesting sandwiches - clearly not in any dire condition :rotfl:
Feeling much better for the antibiotics and terribly embarrassed to be back there, assisted along by my worry because this second round of antics makes it unlikely that I'll be able to work from home as much as I'd like from January, so we'll need to start thinking about a CM - something we'd both hoped to avoid.
I'm trying to get as much done as I can while my mother's still here, he's likely to be in for another week so it'll just be me and the small one
Tomorrow there'll be a grocery shop, a walk and a frantic removal of all rubbish from the place so I can just take a small bag down instead of a big one and I don't have to leave Molly unattended.
I'm just putting Husband's bag of requests together, then putting my pants back on (comfy jammie pants the order of the day here) and waiting for Molly to wake so I can feed her and speed over to the hospital to fling the bag at him and race back before she goes to sleep.
Has anyone managed to get the Halfcost website to work today? It keeps letting me add things to my basket but when I go to check out it says noAnd they only have 9 drums left in stock
