  • We have a grobag egg too and I love it!! Unfortunately it never made it into Benjamin's room so it is a nightlight for me and hubby!!

Our monitor tells us the temp in Benjamin's room - check to see if yours will do both.

Thanks Sami, that one looks nice - i didn't know whether to get a body one or room one but the body ones are expensive from what i've seen so i'll prob go for room and stop being paranoid lol.

SM he says he won't spend money on a baby he won't get to see - like it's our fault he is living nr. Sheffield 120 miles away from me, i was going to let him stay here for a few weeks after the birth so they could bond but he wasn't interested.
I might come hide at your house after i've gone down there to bash his head in with his beloved TV that he left behind :rotfl:

I didn't even think of the monitor doing temp, although it's this one i have so it doesn't do that it looks pretty basic

That ikea cot looks nice, i was looking at this one too which is more expensive though and no mattress http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Babies-R-Us/Nursery/Cots-and-Cotbeds/Highgate-Cotbed-in-Natural%280070306%29?

Yep definitely getting the CSA involved. Although i'm not relying on it since i got them involved with DS almost 7 yrs ago and never got a penny to this day!

Ah well - it was worth a try! ;)

TBH we ignore our Grobag Egg loads - the 16-19 degrees that is supposed to be fine (therefore yellow) is too cold for me so we tend to live in the 20-24 degrees band (orange) which I/We find more comfortable. Although I like it when it is 24 degrees + (RED!!) but I don't keep it like that with Benjamin in the room!!

Beenie have you got many boots points? there is this forehead/ear/room thermometer
    http://www.boots.com/en/Brother-Max-3-in-1-Digital-Thermometer_53792/
Its £35 :undecided but I spent that on a braun ear thermometer and then £13 on a room/bath one so it's a bargain really;)

OMG - MFD I'd be roasting at 24 degrees :rotfl: we like it around 21 but usually drops to 19 in the middle of the night which leads to a rather 'nippy' night feed :p
