I think that pram is perfect, Jasmine had a navy and green pram because I was given it, and I just made a point of using pink blankets !!

Thanks SM & Glam :D, i've never considered a chocolate one, i ordered the Mosaic Air but have had a refund and if i bought this brown one it'd be a big saving! Although it's second hand which i will thank myself for when i end up replacing with a stroller.

    Original order £150 + raincover about £15 + changing bag £15 ish? = £180

    vs.

2nd hand, brown version includes raincover & bag = £45

 Seems like a no brainer to me and i'd use some of my savings to buy an autobase for the car to save hassle on the school run?

Bruno, have you reclaimed the rebate on your pension contributions (I think you are in the 40% band, but ignore me if not) that could go some way to undermining the claim for the 1800 the HMRC are making? I think it can be backdated 6 years?

Thanks Weezl :) yes am in the process of doing so, should hit my tax code for this month, no-one able to tell me how much I'll get back the first month but my rough estimate looked like it might be £40+/month for the last 19 months, so will help a LOT if I am right.

Bruno, sadly not that much left of the holiday.. got to be out of here at 10am tomorrow morning :( Must get on with the packing so I can have a bit of a lie in in the morning! OH brought me a cup of tea in bed this morning.. first time in six months - last one was brought to me by a midwife! :D

Rhys still not settling without OH cuddling him.. maybe he's OD'ed on OH this week so I'm going to have my work cut out next week when OH is back at work! He's got a white tongue too.. thrush, maybe?

Awww :( well you had a nice time, and the hospital had good results, and OH got his Rhys-cuddling in!

Poor Elijah now has a nasty cold as well as his reflux and another molar coming through  he has been very fragile today, and has already woken a couple of times due to his inability to breathe properly, was desperate to be back asleep but needed cuddles and some upright position for a bit to be able to... might be a long night.

Tomorrow 11.30 we have GP app to get a paediatrician referral for the reflux, which seems to be getting worse again :(

Glam - I loved Keifer Sutherland from The Lost Boys. He's got one of those rough looks! :o

He's still my second cousin (once removed :p) :D one of my many dubious claims to fame :) unlikely to ever meet him though.
  • I was actually pricing flights, but was going to be £147 return for just me and Dylan :( too much
