Hope everyone else is wellThe two best things I have done with my life

thanks everyone. If it were one of you posting what I posted I know what I would say - so have taken my own advice! I took Annabel to the HV drop in clinic to see the Dr and the HV took one look at me and asked if she could come and see me this afternoon!!! I thought I looked okay as I had showered, but i think my bleary eyes couldn't be hidden!
Susan - that's a great suggestion. My biggest problem is that now she's so mobile all she wants to do is explore and we have lost the hypnotic effect tv has. Not that I'm complaining about that, but it is at times like this I could do with it. Hopefully the HV will give me tea and sympathy and tell me I'm doing a good job! Where is Savvy????
I know it's no consolation but I had next to no sleep for about 18 months with Aston, and I was a single Mummy so it was uber hard.
But it really does get better one day lol:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
RE: Curries, you cant beat a west indian curry
Staples in my house are chillis, curry powder and agrlic, oh and we cant forget all purpose seasoning!
That reminds me, where is SM???:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

We love curries here. I used to think curry was brown slop with sultanas in, as that's what my Mam always made it like, and I didn't like it. I didn't realise that there is a whole world of curries out there until I met Craig and he introduced me to different ones
Charlotte was weaned on spicy foods, so she eats them all too. She likes chicken jalfrezi best. We went to an indian restaurant when she was about 18 months and the waiters were amazed as she was dipping a popadom in hot lime pickle and enjoying it
Went ice skating this morning and she loved it! She took to it straight away and just giggled when she fell over and got straight back up again. Here I go again on my own....0 -

Ouch bruno, I've always hated HMRC, they made me pay back £2600, so sympathies!! If it makes you feel ANY better, OH's dad is supposed to fill in his own tax return thingys, and he always forgets, and has had fines of thousands. I'm talking 10k!!
His mum has offered to buy OH a new sofa for Xmas....and what do I want she asks? Bit generous, but if you insist I'll have a chest freezer and make that a black leather sofa
Jut made a chicken madras, added some chopped up spuds to bulk it out too.
OH isn't even home, or left work yet, supposed to finish at 3:45. Work is SUPER busy, which is great news! Plus he's already made £100 of overtime this month alreadyI think it works 2months behind though, so won't get it until January pay, oh wait no, will get it in the Dec pay, as still Nov pay to come. Spiffy! They are also on target for the next production bonus which hasn't been seen in over a year because of erm hardly any production. HELLO £700! would come right in time for Keira's birthday ,so will probs use it to take her away somewhere fun for the weekend
Gave the cats raw chicken thighs for dinner, the kitten loves it, the fat cat had a wee munch then came crying for Felix, what a loser cat! Just saw her in my cabinets above the sink, sleeping in with my glasses...just why?
Keira was a great little helper today, she helped me do the dishes, was great! She did end up smashing my irn bru glass, right at the end though, boooo. But bless her
Oh yeah and that woman didn't even show up yesterday for the shower, and she phoned me today apologising and she said she'd be here tonight "probably about 6 - 6:30" We'll bloody see, she has 5minutes, I'm sick of waiting aroundButtonmoons wrote: »Probs get lynched for this but I really find babies boring! After 6 months they have a little personality and it gets sooooo much better, but I just remember clock watching all day waiting for OH to come home so I could have someone to chat too.Where is Savvy????
but she did tell me to say when people are on a downer, "SUE SAYS YOU ARE ALL DOING A GOOD JOB!" so i am saying it now

Hugs to rmac and MFD.
AM - I think SM is Christmas shopping! AGAIN!!!!
I'm got my fingers crossed all the Mummies who didn't get sleep have a nap time this afternoon.
Tigs - Faries have been here tofay, should be with you in the next few days
Liam has been grumpy/sleepy all morning. So not like him, he's usually a morning baba and has given up on his morning nap for the past week or so. Went to Rhyme Time, was a very small group and he got grumpy and shouty half way through. Just hada feed and is now amusing himself in front of the TV.
Hubby has really hurt his back, think it might have happened when he slid downa few of the stairs on Sat. He's rang to make an appointment with the GP, so it must be bad, but apparently he is no longer registered and nobody can tell us why. he is going to register at my practice after work so at least all 3 of us will be under the same surgery.0 -
Lovely pics Beccles and JM.
Oh Sami, your just like me. I don't get curry, don't really like anything too spicy either. All my friends think I'm strange. Oh, and I do eat rice, but prefer fried or cooked with chicken stock, not really keen on just plain boiled.0
