MSE Parents Club Part 8

Gosh, I wish I was 35 again. Or could even remember what it felt like to be 35. No hope of remembering what it was like to feel 28. Oh well
Actually, I don't really care how old I am, coz I don't feel it. About the only thing I've noticed is that I have to kneel down when I change Andrew on one of the chairs, rather than bending over for any length of time. I doubt I'm any more tired as a result of my (incredibly, it would seem) old age, I think I'd be tired with a "newborn" (newly home) anyway.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

I tend to add a beef stock cube and worcester sauce too it too, but try the smoked paprika, it's good!
See Em, the baby group near me closed, I didn't really have any friends who came round and coo'ed either. I was pretty much by myself! Thats why I got a cat. Keira was a good baby though.
Beccles, charlotte looks like she is owning that skating rink. Aberdeen council closed down the ice rink here
Well I'm on the rollups now, goodbye cigs FOREVAH, Im smoking amber leaf and i like it! Just sat and rolled the whole packet which gave me 40 rollups, which will last 2 days if I smoke the same amount of them as cigs, and it cost £2.54. So means It's only going to cost me £1.27 a day, as opposed to about £7 per day on cigs  I'm going to be well loaded
So, my friend Tanya is staying over at mine on the first weekend of Dec, as she has to vacate her flat for some improvements by the landlord, so I've told OH to take Keira to his mums for that weekend because A) I want to put up the Christmas tree and wrap everythingOH hates her and C) I fancy going into town on the Saturday.
The weekend after I'm going to Darlington.
The weekend after that, we have OH's Xmas party, which is always good for a free feed and open bar.

Lol Buttons, I can remember when I left home I vowed never to smoke rollies again... Had to smoke them for a while when the ex knicked off, clearing my bank account and leaving me £20k in the red
So glad I gave it all up though!!!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

HV been and she was lovely. Went really well and she wasn't patronising or 'i've seen it all before' either. LO not feeling great - especially as she just pulled the standard lamp over herself
HV had lots of tips for me. Her big one for this evening is to prop up the cot at one end and see if that helps. The other was to put my feet up and do nothing and TALK to hubby when he gets home. She's coming next week, but has some infor she wasnts to send me about an idea she had.......I think I know what it is judging by her earlier comments so I look forward to the information - I'm an information junkie
I love a good pamphlet
:rotfl:
thanks for all being a huge support. I'm not very good at talking about me so forgive the garbled posts.
right - bath timer.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -

Things aren't going well here at the moment!!!!!!
I'm sure everything will work out in the end, but meanwhile I shall try and put a brave face on as usual and pretend that we are a loving family unit with no problems!
Not much else to say really, feeling a bit down, very tired and have a fair bit of work to do on a presentation that I have to present on Thursday afternoon.
I am missing ds1 a bit too, he comes back tomorrow:D

My problem getting Alice to eat spicy foods is OH thinking things will be too spicy for her. She'll eat anything no problem but if she hears him saying it might be too hot then she says it is and he gives her something else.
I normally hype things up the other way and say things like "oooh taste this, it's one of Mammy's favourites and it's sooo yummy." She probably thinks I'm a right fat heffer now :rotfl:Looks like she was enjoying herself. Is that at Newcastle?Buttonmoons wrote:Beccles, charlotte looks like she is owning that skating rink. They did here too
Used to be one in Durham and one in Sunderland, but they were both closed down too. I used to love going to the ice disco on a Friday night when I was a teenager
