Hi all
I'm feeling a little besotted so I thought I'd share the latest photo from yesterday with you all.
Oops, can't seem to shrink it this time.
BF going much better now, though a bit sore today as she's feeding every hour but falling asleep after 10 mins.
Been keeping up but not really got time to post much... must try harder
xxx
Harley she is beautiful!!
Don't worry about keeping up, just say hello!! Unless I have bags of time (I wish!) I tend to just read back a few pages or pick random pages and catch up on what is on there!!
Although I do seem to be around here lots of the time too!
Glad the BF is going well, they go through stages of feeding little and often, 'tis normal

Little Harry, 7lbs was born on 3 Nov at 4:35am by 'forceps' delivery  after 32hr labour. Sleeping - not quite sure as not in great pattern yet as only got out of hospital today (long story with blood transfusions for me etc....). Pooing - oh yes, its just changed in the last day or so (yak!) but Dad helps out on this front A LOT! Glad you asked about baby blues as I find myself going from happy to crying and being generally overwhelmed by the enormity of having a him to look after now - does this sound normal? God hope so.
LOL - get used to crying!! It lasted about 6 months for me! Your hormones are all over the place ATM and it takes a while for them to settle. Day 3 or 4 is when is kicks in for most women and the worst of it usually only lasts for a few days.
It is overwhelming though isn't it? The love that you feel is too big to cope with!
Don't worry, very soon the neverending job that is being a mummy takes over and life begins to settle down.
Are you breast or formula feeding?please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Kierens just about to have his last feed now and that will be him til a feed at 3am, then he'll be up with me at 7. He feeds 3 hrly during the day tho.
Whats a dream feed??
Lucky you!!
Jack should have had a bottle at 8.30pm (3hrs during the day and 4hrs at night) but is still asleep.
A dream feed is where you feed them when they are asleep, so I put him down at 8pm then at 11pm pick him up and tease the bottle on his lips til he takes it. The 2 nights I did it he woke up loads more so I didn't do it last night and he slept better.I'm sorry you have to deal wth this too - do you get used to it. I'll try infacol... got to go and feed now!
Yes you do get used to it! Just out of interest, do you take the bottle out of his mouth or wait for him to push it put before you wind him?
A girl at tiny stars was taking the bottle out after every 1oz to wind her baby - this probably created even more wind! I just let Jack dictate when he's had enough, wind him (can take a good 10-15mins to get it all up) and then he normally takes more.
When he's 3 months I'm goign to switch to Gripe Water
Is 3 months '12 weeks' or '3 calendar months'?A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
