Yes you do get used to it! Just out of interest, do you take the bottle out of his mouth or wait for him to push it put before you wind him?
A girl at tiny stars was taking the bottle out after every 1oz to wind her baby - this probably created even more wind! I just let Jack dictate when he's had enough, wind him (can take a good 10-15mins to get it all up) and then he normally takes more.

When he's 3 months I'm goign to switch to Gripe Water

Is 3 months '12 weeks' or '3 calendar months'?

I'm 'trying' to feed him myself and I say 'trying' cos it is hard.

Oh who was talking about post-pregnancy hair loss? I'm casting like a long haired dug in summer! When I wash my hair the shower stops draining and I have to unblock the plug hole! LOL!
tia i have to unplug the drain up 2-3 times when i have a shower .. ive given up now and just unblock it in one go after .. good job i have thick hair or id be bald x

Me too, and although I have loads of individual strands of hair they're all really fine and I'm terrified it's going to be noticeable :(

You're doing great, I'm sure. It's a skill you have to learn and it's a PITA at first. If you have questions the lovely MSE ladies seem to have all the answers :)

Which reminds me that I meant to ask you all something and forgot what it was. It was definitely feeding-related

Ah. Colic! Molly pitches a fit around 7pm daily complete with arched back and flailing legs, no matter how comprehensively she's winded after feeds. There's no correlation between the end of the last feed and the start of the rage - could it be colic or just the stress of the day getting to her, and can colic just start around three months?

    That's me tia!

Glam, can't you use gripe water from 8 weeks?

Oh really?! Will have a look next time I'm in ASDA. I'm hoping it's better than Infacol!

If I can have it, should I stop the Infacol completely and start gripe water or do a mixture of the two and slow get him off the Infacol?

Just conscious it can take a few days for these things to start working!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Can be used from 1 month, according the box we have. We can't use it (kidney issues) - was bought by a friend along with other baby "essentials".. Can you send glass bottles through the post? If so, fairies can send.. :)

Yup - it is! But it does get easier and you can do it with the support of all the lovely peeps on here! Also, find a local Breastfeeding Support Group (also known as Booby Club) and get along there to share some real life grumbling and tears ;):D

Shout if you have any questions - Krystal is our Booby Goddess :A
