Well, I made scones tonight :j They were abit too flat so I know next time to make sure the dough is a bit thicker when I cut the shapes out. But they tasted fab so I know I did all that right!
The RR has almost gone so I think tomorrow will be spent making more RR and more scones!

Jack is asleep on the beanbag again, it seems to be the only place he'll sleep during the day :rolleyes: Am a bit worried that it's not firm enough but I can't have him sleeping on me all the time!

Had a 2hr nap earlier and feel a bit better now but still got a bit of a cold!

I'm feeling very proud of myself.. I've been making purees So far we have apple, carrot and sweet potato (which is actually quite nice.. first time I've ever tried it ). Still got pear, parsnip and butternut squash to go. Potatoes baking in the oven for our tea too - should have been totally MSE and roasted the BNS while the oven was on! :doh: :rolleyes:

Rhys and Daddy still fast asleep. I've done washing up and sorted washing too.. I'm on a roll! (but, yes, my feet hurt.. seven hours in boots, now hard kitchen floor ).

what do you use vanilla sugar for? i've never heard of it before would love to try it though, vanilla is my favourite flavour and scent

sm i fed seth mostly jars before he ate lumps cos my blender is crap and it was cheaper to feed jars than buy a new blender lol

elle when i do BNS for seth i boil it, it blended better
