oooh buttons dont say that on the pet board, they'll be telling you he needs to be seen by a vet urgently in case the bones splinter cos raw ones are fine but cooked ones are too brittle, but when you call the vet dont call a random one, call your usual one, cos vets have a much higher suicide rate than men in other professions because of people calling them out and then dont go back and use them again!

I hope they do splinter, muhahahah! Nah I think it's only if they splinter in their throat and he's fine and annoying as per usual, and must be half way through his gut by now. Fat bleeper he is!

Well, it's 8:15pm and nobody has puked on me so far today ... I'd call that a success ;)

We're still not sure what's happening tomorrow, Husband has an appointment with the doctor first thing and that will determine whether he has surgery tomorrow or the day after or even the day after that. We're still supposed to be going to Paris on Friday  and I have to go for work and can't leave Molly so we'll see how we can organise ourselves. In any case, tomorrow involves packing my mother's stuff and all my crap to go to the UK, filling in and returning a Kindergeld form, sending the fairies off with a CD, some more tidying (living room, bedroom and kitchen are now almost actual rooms instead of part storage areas). Oh, and I'm going to pay off some of my student loan and transfer some money to cover most of the rest of it!!!

Molly's up and down although she's been technically down with some interruptions and a feed for two hours now. Bathtime was predictably awful, so we're going to get a space heater in the bathroom and see if that helps cause she seems chilly while in there.

Good luck again MFD and a happy evening and restful night for all.

Alright, my list of things to make is:
    Plum Jam
    Rasberry Jam
    Strawberry Jam
    Cashew Butter
    Some sort of Chutney
    lemon curd
    Some sort of marmalade
    apple butter
    pumkin butter
    pickled peppers
    banana butter

Does anyone else have wonderful ideas for making things in jars as presents? Would vanilla sugar be too simple? I'm just doing little (110ml) pots of things. How do I figure out shelf life of things? I want my cold to go away so I can cook!

Love one, thank you - I'm going to take it to the bedroom though and settle in. I've been watching the same Jonathan Creek episode for three nights now and keep falling asleep, tonight I aim to find out what really happened.

Is it wrong that I have a bit of a crush on Jonathan Creek?
