Morning all x
We are having DH's best man and his children come over. So I'll mostly be entertaining a 6 month old a 8 month old and a 2yr old :rotfl: oh and making endless cups of tea/coffee. Then tonight we are off out to a 25th birthday party, won't be a late one though as it starts just as Daniel goes to bed normally!!Mummy to D born 21/04/09 and S born 09/05/120 -
I am now slightly forgiving of Elijah's early morning antics -I sat him in my lap to dress him to go out, he reached out to where his shoes and socks were, grabbed his sock and started trying to put it on :T I love seeing him learn!
ETA now his shoe too!0 -

You're not an idiot there must just have been some confusion... look forward to hearing from you.Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
Just Catching up, Hi Mel:hello:when is your dating scan?
Millie went to a CM cos I wanted her in a home environment and it worked well for us at the time, the CM had converted a floor of her house specifically & her mother was her registered assistant so it was a little bit like a nursery too.
Millie is an October baby so when she got to 3 all her friends the 'same age' ( birthdays before september) went off to pre school she was really left out and really was ready for pre school, I think if she had been in a nursery it wouldn't have been as much of a problem., as it was we took her out of the CMs.
I'm jealous of all your talk about clothes, Ello is in 3-6months and I am so sick of the sight of the same clothes! she hasn't been in this size very long but i have had most of the clothes since she was born so it feels like I've been looking at them forever! However it is very MSE so I shouldn't complain!MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
I'm writing a huge list of stuff for OH to do, packing our stuff then travelling to Wolverhampton for tea with MFD and Krystal!
Then a night in a hotel with my girls, DD1's dancing competition at 9 tomorrow, then home to moan at OH for not completing his to do list!
 at Elijahs far to early mornings! Can he really be starving at 5 am? I'm not really sure what to suggest - maybe a 5 course banquet before bed!
But :T at him trying to do his socks & shoes! They're so cute when they get a bit of independance - until they start school, you're in a rush in the morning, and they're insisting they dress themselves!:beer:0 -
I'm 25, 26 in Feb
(did anyone think I was older or younger then that? Just curious..
)
Sami, my sis was 24 in July, mum is 52 and dad is 56
I've been asleep for the last three hours.. again!
elle, I thought you were a bit younger, maybe 22 or 23Not sure why though, think you look quite young on your FB pics
Graaaah. Watched a movie and went to bed at midnight. Monster child woke at 1.30 without any excuse, took 20 mins of settling. Then he woke at 5... 20 minutes of settling (and some water) later I despaired, he seemed convinced it was time to get up but I am not having his wakeup time be 5am. I put him back in the cot and let him scream and shout and complain - not real full-on sobbing, and when I left him I made sure he'd had some water and his nappy was ok etc... for an hour, while I lay there trying to doze.
I thought he would give up and go back to sleep, but no - eventually at 6.15 I gave up and got up with him. As soon as I did, all he would do is charge to the kitchen and stand there with his arms up waiting to be lifted into the high-chair! Now I've been feeding him for 25 minutes, and he won't even eat a lot of his normal food! But he also won't entertain the idea of my stopping and taking him out.
He has gone crazy and not in a good way!
I think it was Tia asking the other day about his bedtime routine and suppertime - he usually eats a hefty supper at 6ish, gets breastfed at 7.30, and is in bed by 8.
I am so tired and aggravated right now. He's been waking up certainly before 6 for the last few days, don't know why also a night waking last night unless maybe it's a bit cold, going out to get sleeping bags that fit him this morning. He can't really be desperate for food at 5.30am can he? I don't know.
Anyway, off to catch up on thread once his face is sufficiently stuffed.
Could you maybe move his supper a bit later ??? If he isnt having a huge BF at bed time, then he is pretty much going 12 hours without food, which is quite a long time !!The two best things I have done with my life

I like it MM
Elle - I thought you looked younger but come across as older in your posts.
Well, what a night! Might have to give up on these Dream Feeds cos I'm getting even less sleep and last night he just wouldn't sleep in his cot
Went down at 9pm, DF at 10.30pm, woke at 1.30am, feel asleep on me but woke when in cot so let him sleep on me, put him down at 3.50am and at 4am wanted a feed. He wouldn't go in his cot so was on me again til 8am.
Might go back to feeding him as and when he wants it and drop the DF to see if that helps. I'm also sure he would sleep better on his front but I'm a bit frightened to do it
MFD - I will try the pillow thing tonight and see how it goes.
Right, bottles made and RR in fridge setting (it smells really chocolatey so not sure if I did it right but hey!
Off to shower and then walk down to a Jumble Sale - might as well make the most of the nice weather while it lasts!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Glam, I hated dream feeds, they always woke up too much !! They just dont suit every baby or mummy
Have fun at the jumble sale, I'm not even dressed yet, so wont be leaving the house for a while !!The two best things I have done with my life

Morning all,
Been up for a couple of hours, but awoke with my shoulder/back in agony so can hardly move! Had to get DH to lift Holly out of her moses basket. Taken some anti inflamatory painkillers so hoping they help. Meant to be going to a friend's for a girly drink tonight but not sure I can drink when taking these! It's so not fair. I only drink about twice a year as it is, never mind when I have a baby.
Off to hairdressers soon for desperate cut and colour then maybe shopping for something to wear whilst DH looks after Holly.
Scratch that, need to bath Holly first as she has just pooed and it's come out the top of the nappy! And she was just about to dose off as well.
