Tara, Tamiflu might be a good idea for the rest of you - and it would also be good to get swine flu confirmed so your DD can get Relenza. It's not good for pregnant ladies - did she get the vaccine?

Everyone: I have a question that's been rattling away in my brain for a while, and wondered what you all think. I'm a bit concerned that we all might have quite different perceptions of this whole 'fairy post' idea, and that therefore we might get the etiquette for it wrong and offend each other by accident. I became most conscious of it after NMS left, which I think was in part caused by fairy post misunderstandings.
I for example feel that I haven't been a huge sender of stuff and have still only paid just under £20 in fairy postage. I know a lot of you send things much more often than me and are very generous. So I sometimes worry I'm that annoying person in the pub who never gets their round in!
Anyhow, I'd hate there to be any fairy post induced hurts or misunderstandings, so in the spirit of all staying a happy community, can someone: publish the rules of the fairy post;)/give me a kick up the bum if I do it wrong/say if they're hurt about it before it's too bad etc etc....
Just catching up as of this morning...
Weezl, I don't do much fairy posting and I have never asked for anything but the items I have this week are just randoms that I have found and thought I wonder if my MSE friends could make use of these? I would never offer if I was not willing to pay the postage (I have stamps from the postal surveys!) and I would never expect anything in return.
And, for me, its simple common courtesy to say thank you. Shame on the non-thankers!!
Which leads on to the Pregnacare!. Did you ask Mel? They are all wrapped and ready to be posted tomorrow to the lucky pregnant lady!
Oh, and the fairies have another item:
A new white and red top from NEXT age 3-6m 'Santa's Little Helper' logo.
Last day of posting for Christmas tomorrow so if anyone would like it for their LO please yell!
Hope everyone is well today. We should be in a restaurant celebrating my Mums 65th birthday but the children aren't really well enough. Getting there though, thank goodness!!

Sorry to butt in without catching up but Ben's really quite poorly, he was hallucinating a lot of the night. I think he may have Swine Flu but can't see the point of the Tamiflu, didn't someone else on here have kids with it?
Millie had it - Milliesmums eldest. She was quite poorly but got better in a couple of days if I remember rightly.
MM has been AWOL for a whileI could do with some of her no-nonsense advice on Benjamins separation anxiety stuff. Elle asked a while ago about Ello's weight gain too.
She is around becauseI stalked her on another thread the other day...just not in here
Hope Ben is okay tara.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
