Mothercare offers on car seats here - they've got a sale on apparently :)
  • Hi Everyone,

Sorry not been around lately, busy working and trying to get sorted for Christmas.

DD hasn't been well either, she's had some sort of virus that knocked her appetite for a week and a temperature, fortunately she's come out the other side now and is eating again.

Nearly sorted for Christmas except for the wrapping.

Apologies I've not had chance to catch up but hugs etc all round.

    MDW

Glad LO's feeling better, MDW :)

Can't help on the carseat discussion and am off to bed. I'm considering wearing my new boots there, just because I like them and I can.

    Goodnight :)

On carseats, I was using the jane strata which I got with the pram and Cliodhna always hated it. I couldnt wait till she outgrew it. Bought this one a few days ago because she is still too small for forward facing, but didnt want to waste money on a rear facing when she will change again in a few months. This does both.

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160382919675&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

And she loves it because now she can see out the windows while im driving.

I was planning on wrapping tonight, but one of the kids has stolen my cellotape and I cant find it anywhere and no one is owning up

I took my new P&T out tonight and Cliodhna hates the cocoon, screamed until I took her out, so I guess thats going on ebay as soon as christmas is over, she will be 6 months in 2 weeks so I guess she will be big enough for a proper seat. This little madam just hates having her view resticted, she loves to have a good nosey at all thats going on :rotfl:

    sounds good :)

It's really interesting how couples handle the joint finances thing. The main difficulty with our system (total joint finances, main administrator-weezl :D) is that when we buy each other presents it's hard to keep it a surprise.

We tend to do a kind of: I'm going to draw £25 cash out for your anniversary pressie is that ok?

    So romantic non?

LOL My mum n dad are like this, My dad doesn't even have a bank account so he has to get pocket money off mum :D

3 - I think SB has the petit zia wotsit, that is like the quinny but does recline.
I've got a Cosatto Diablo usual umbrella thing and I like it but I'm toying with the idea of getting a parent facing one for Ed, I couldn't afford one for Chris though

I'm not sure what to do; I've got an email from BB saying I'm getting the wean machine but I'm not sure if I should get it and give it a whirl or say no and stick totally to BLW, or even I could use it but not actually feed the stuff to Ed
